Staff was pleasant and nice. Breakfast was ok. Coffee was terrible and could have done without all the fruit flies everywhere

The property is in the middle of upgrading...but it's quiet and location was perfect for me

Everyone was nice

I have always stayed here when visiting family in CT. I have been staying here since it was best western. This time there was no one at the desk when I went to check in. Another person came in and finally someone came out. The room had 1 set of towels per person we were staying 2 nights. When I asked for more towels the next day I was told there were no more. The coffee maker didnt work so we used the microwave to heat the water. I went to use the ironing board and iron. The ironing board cover had a hole in it from a burn in the cover. when we came back Saturday night the outside trash by the door to go in was overflowing with trash. When I called to book this room there was an issue with the site. It kept stating try again. It went through and I looked at my email confirmation and it was showing I booked for that night. I booked for June 26 to 28. I called the number on the email and was told it couldnt be changed and I was going to be charged. I asked to speak to the manager and she came back and said we will fix this one time. It has now been charged to my card. I was also sent a credit of 50.00 to use and I brought it to the desk when checking out and they said that I should have used that when I made the reservation and they couldnt take it off the bill. I won't stay there again. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but not this time. Horrible customer service all the way around!!!

We arrived early to a reunion from 5 hour drive and couldn't get in early the room wasn't ready .. the door to the room wouldn't lock the rugs were dirty looking and everything was old .. went to the bar looked dirty and only a few people in it .. the bartender was very nice and friendly.. probably only one! Spent 297. For a night never go back

Staff was nice. But the place is really run down and not clean. Stains on the linens, the sink didn’t look clean. There were things broken in the room. And several questionable stains on the walls

The hotel was just checking over for the Hilton by the Hilton. It was not a good hotel. It smelled like cigarette ran down. Stafr didn’t seem too friendly doors were very it was very poorly maintenance. It looked like it had one room and just painted the second room and maybe bought new beds and ACs that property needs a lot of work. Breakfast was basic. It was a smell to the hotel. It just wasn’t worth the money I spent it was 200 something dollars. I think I will give it a motel 85.

Although it’s no fault of the hotel but my neighbors were very loud..

A great stay with the amount of amenities and close to a shopping center is unmatched

I don’t think the staff should be utilizing amenities for guests and listening to their devices loud enough to disturb the guests.

Breakfast was not refilled and people were complaining. Bad smell The tub did not drain properly

It looked like recent paint for a quick update but it still had aged signs everywhere. Staff was great morning or night. They really made it a nice stay. On the upside they said they were bought out by another hotel chain so maybe upgrades are coming soon. Currently they are the Clarion and previously a Best Western. Good location as well.

They're renovating the place, so at least they know it's not shipshape, but this is probably the last time I stay there.

Front desk was incredible. Our room accommodations were terrible. Our room had torn curtains, bathroom was in terrible condition( tub bottom peeling, shower head looked ready to fall off), pool was closed ( we were traveling with our grandson to a lacrosse tournament and were looking forward to relaxing at the end of a hot day) we were between a loud obnoxious party on one side, and a barking dog in the room on the other. Sleeping was difficult at best. The next morning while getting coffee, I mentioned the barking dog. Michelle, the front desk clerk, listened to my story and immediately offered to switch us to a different room (I should mention here that our grandson was a last minute addition as his father had to respond to a work emergency, we needed to ask for a cot as we had already booked a room with one King bed for my wife and I). Michelle not only facilitated a room swap, she got us a room with two beds, right down the hall, which minimized our packing and moving time. The room was clean, bright comfortable and in good order, bathroom was updated. Best of all, quiet. After a full day of lacrosse, we took in Little Italy in New Haven and came back to get an excellent nights rest for the second day of games. Michelle was attentive, understanding, respectful and incredibly helpful, a real credit to your staff. She even made sure I had fresh coffee in the lobby that first morning when I was sleep deprived and grumpy. Her quick action salvaged what was shaping up to be a horrible weekend stay. Thanks Michelle! The dog was incredibly yappy . Initial room was in terrible condition, not sure who thought it was a good idea idea to put guests there. Would have been nice to know in advance about the pool. Breakfast was ok, but the coffee needs an upgrade.

Wish we had known the pool was closed for renovations. It was the main reason we booked the location.
