Prince Resort

The view was amazing, the room was clean and had plenty supplies however the doors are in need of painting and the hallway was never vacuumed the entire time I was there. I didn't see many workers but the few housekeeping attendants were very nice. The entrance to our room had a terrible odor. The previous guest had left a bucket of fish, a knife and an empty bucket outside of our room. Someone called about it and no one ever came to remove it. The next day my husband picked it up and gave it to the housekeeper to discard it, however the random knife outside the door was never removed. I don't think we will stay again.

The property is in need of a deep cleaning and a renovation. Location is great but wouldn’t stay there again due to the uncleanliness of the entire property.

The room was clean, the staff helpful and the view was wonderful! The only problem was I wanted to stay longer!!

Run down, only worried about the vacation clubs, refuse to help when needed

Everything thing in this room should be taken to landfill. Furniture dirty and worn out. When you take a shower and walk across the carpet your feet are black from the filthy carpet. Frying pan looked as if they were found in dump somewhere. We have staying at Prince Resort for about 15 years or more My wife and I decided that this would be last . It’s very disappointing when you wait all year to take a vacation and pay a lot of money and you end up a room that ruins it all.

Most of the stay was fine, but there were a few hiccups. I checked in before 4 and was told that I would get a text message once my room was ready. I asked the receptionist if I would get a message despite booking through a third-party app. She said yes. 4 came around. No text. 4:10 came. No text. 4:20 came. No text. So finally I went up to the receptionist and asked if my room was ready. She gave me my room number without acknowledging that I got my room late. I never got the text message telling me my room was ready. Next, I used the vending machine on my floor. It took my dollar but did not count it, so I tried to get change back, and I guess the machine was out of quarters. The vending machine downstairs also took a quarter from me when I tried to get the change back after realizing this machine also did not work. I did not make a fuss about it at the time because I figured it would not get resolved. The stay was ok, but I will likely not return to this resort.

Close proximity to beach Long lines for elevator one elevator ended up breaking while we were there Which made the lines even longer. I also don’t like the fact that we had to wait to check in which was a little hectic seeing as you had to park in a very small lot and wait for your room and then go over to the parking garage across the street

Would’ve been nice to have known this upfront. Tried to change rooms but there wasn’t any additional vacancy.

The condo room in tower 2 was well designed and the kitchen had ample amenities to cook. The kiddie pool and lazy river in tower 2 were good. Tower two is convenient for pools and parking, but it requires crossing a road that can be busy at times to get to the beach. The building needs some repair (pool shower didn’t work and one of the hot tubs was unusable two days) and the management needs to communicate better. For example, one day we went to a scheduled children’s activity and found the door locked. Had to make much effort to find someone. No signage to explain where pool towels are, etc. Just put up notes for guests! The biggest disappointment was the construction happening all around (not really the fault of the Prince Resort). Staff was attentive whenever we asked and cleaners brought towels/ cleaned the rooms as scheduled. The beach at the resort is really nice, clean, shallow for kiddies with fun tide pools at low tide. We had a great stay, but not a great view(again, not Prince Resort’s fault as they aren’t the ones building.)

The hotel is going down hill. The elevators are slow and looks to not be taking care of. There were several items left in our room from a previous guest. The on site restaurant is filthy. There was not many people there and the table they sat us at was sticky and I had food in my chair. The plates at the buffet bar had food stuck to it. To be charged 14.95 per person you expect it to be clean and to be served quickly. The hotel states that pool bands are required to be worn and is checked but most people did not have bands on and they came and went. The lady that was supposed to be checking just sat in a chair and played on her phone. She never checked anyone. When this was brought to the staffs attention and asked for managers number no number was given. The staff said they understood but nothing was done about it. We also was locked out of our bedroom door due to a bad lock on the door. Staff told us mataience was there and would show up that night. They never showed up until that next morning late. Had we not used a card to get the door open we all would have had to sleep in the living room. Our keys, wallets, kids clothes was in that room. Anytime I tried to call the front desk the line was always busy they never picked up. I would always have to call the reservation number and them get in touch with the front desk. On the day of checking out. The staff said let me check to make sure you have nothing. She said so you won't call. Some people call and ask questions. Why do you care if people call and ask questions? It is your job to answer questions. You can get a better hotel with more professional staff and better amenities than what you pay here. We definitely won't stay here again and that's sad because we were married here and we come back every year and spend 3 to 4 thousand dollars.

Room was nice , we were disappointed we had to cross the street to get to the beach, that was not in any description

The room wasn’t very clean upon arrival, we also had to ask multiple days to have our trash emptied or for fresh towels/ washcloths. The amenities were not as good as other resorts we have stayed at and there was a lot of construction going on with a new hotel being built next door.

Beach access and cherry Grove Pier The room was cheaply painted and decorated. They put us on the 19 floor when i stated I had children with me. Unsafe belocny. I paid $2,500 for ocean view and was put in the second sister building. Upstairs pool was dirty, they dont allow you to vape outdoors. Parking garage is terrible tight spots. Middle elevator in second building always stops at floor 11. Construction right outside our window.

Great room and very clean

The total Experience was relaxing. The beach view was amazing. Really enjoyed my stay. Just the reset I needed.
