Holiday Inn Norwich by IHG

Our 1st room smelled like mildew- I went right back to the front desk to request another room, she did it with no further questions. Next room seems ok but after turning the ac down and leaving for hours, we got back to the room and it also smelled. It was 2 am so we dealt with it and checked out by 1030 the next morning anyway.

Absolutely disgusting hotel and horrific customer service. When we got off the elevator, the hallway was about 80+ degrees and the carpet was filthy. Our room was dirty and smelled overwhelmingly musty, like a basement. There were stains/spilled substances on the bed headboards and the back of the door. The bathroom was disgusting—the bathtub was literally brown and filthy. We immediately went to the front desk, asked for the manager, and requested a refund. We were told Ms. Patel was “busy” and would call me right back. She never did. Because we were in town for a show, we had to pay for another hotel. When I called later, I was told the manager had already left for the night. I called again the next day and was told she would be there Monday. On Monday, I called during the time I was told she would be there, only to be told she had left again. I contacted Hotels.com, who made multiple attempts to reach the hotel and had difficulty getting a response. When they finally connected, the hotel refused to issue a refund. We paid for a room that was so filthy we could not stay there, and management couldn't even be bothered to return my calls. DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the first hotel review I have ever written, but I feel other travelers deserve to be warned.

The location Checking in late and waking up to comforters with urine stains on them. Couldn’t find any staff to address the issue ended up taking a business card off the front desk.

No restaraunt. The shuttle is nice though. The hotel needs updates and ice machine didn't work.

so checked in and no restaurant and no bar and not even a bottle of water,the shuttle to casino was great, my shower had hairs all over it and huge carpet stains and room smelled like mold and air conditioning barely worked

Friendly staff and location Room was unclean, carpets were frayed, no curtain to close the window. Overall run down.

Not very clean. Tv shut off at 11 pm. No service. We were in the bar earlier and kept scrolling on the tv how to pay your bill so I’m thinking they got suspended. Won’t go back

From parking to person checking us in to our room, it was a good experience. Nice quiet room and everything about our stay was a good experience, no problem recommending it to a friend or family

definitely in need of a major upgrade, the hallways were extremely dark, and smelled musty, same with the rooms. Mildew in the corner in the bathroom was all they could be smelled, and the shower curtain did not hold the water back at all. The air conditioning units definitely needed cleaning too. Location was great for a night at the casino but it could use a major facelift
