Quite location.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Quiet, parking convenient, room was clean and well set up. Altogether a very nice "vintage" motel. Location in Oakley, KS was very convenient for visiting the local state parks and small museums.

We had a good stay. We needed a late check in and the staff was very helpful and accommadating. The room was clean and comfortable. We wanted to be able to make our own breakfast due to eating restrictions so having the kitchen, with the refrigerator and stove allowed us to easily do so. We will stay here again our next time going through Kansas.

The rooms are clean the staff is great.

Second time staying clean, and met our needs for a place to stop on a two-day trip back home.

Very nice upgrades

Room was clean. Air conditioner worked great. Small frig & microwave. Large TV with DirecTV service. Able to park next to room making it easy to unload and load. Nightly rate was half compared to a newer motel in the area.

Previous stay was years ago. New ownership and renovations made the stay pleasant.

The room was clean, I enjoy it. Parking is tight but it's a small Motel. The bathroom sink faucet squirted out water, which it didn't do last time I was there - but they are always nice people, it's private and in a tiny town.

Great room, bed, cleanliness, and modern updates to an older Motel. Anyone traveling there, just understand the large cattle fields are close by and if you're traveling through from out of town think of that Rodeo smell while outdoors :). Great friendly staff, parking, ice machine, and affordable price.

When we got there everything LOOKED good. But the room had an extremely musty smell. The sheets on the bed didn’t seem clean. I slept in my clothes and used my own blanket. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was clean and good. Ours was more like a suite and it had a kitchen with dishes, stove, oven and microwave. There was a funny smell in the bathroom like there was a venting problem, but it was really clean. Overall, good, but not great.

Just mediocre.

We stayed one night while traveling through to Colorado. Simple hotel in a quiet location. Its only about 35 minutes away from the Monument Rocks which were amazing to experience in person! Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Definitely not a bad spot to stay in if you're in or traveling through Oakley.

Fridge in the room was good. Linens were clean. I typically don't consider dated and worn as a detractor as long as it is comfortable and mostly functional as that pretty well describes me. The disappointment came with the mirror was hazy and streaked until I polished it with a washcloth - good to go. Then this morning, when I went to take a shower, the curtain was nasty and stuck together at the bottom. Those were the only disappointments but I can't recommend it and probably would not stay there again while recognizing that anyone can have a bad day.

Nothing...better than expected.

Not everyone’s idea of “clean” is the same, but my room was indeed CLEAN. I forgot to bring shampoo, so it was nice that there was some in the shower. Also, a pump soap dispenser in the shower makes so much more sense than little individual soaps. Lots of other little amenities: hair dryer, coffee maker, mini fridge, cell phone charging station, excellent (new and clean) air conditioner, hand lotion, quality bedding and pillows, thick drapes. Being out in the middle of nowhere without a lot of competition, it would be easy for an establishment to cut corners, but this hotel went the other direction and created a decent and affordable place to stay the night before heading out to cross the wide open plains. I couldn’t get the deadbolt in my room to make contact with the hole in the door frame. I ended up jimmying the chair in the room in such a way as to feel secure. I’m sure if I had asked the front desk for help with the deadbolt they would have helped, but it was late and I was tired, so I made do.
