Meals were very good but very expensive. Alcoholic drinks and wines were delicious this year. Great bartending.

As for the pool there are no chairs because people can use a pool membership even if they weren't staying. I paid for it but there was no chair. The house phone doesn't work. I reported it to the front desk but nothing happen. The nicest and most helpful person was the bell man and the Friday manager. The feeling of comfort a attention seems to be taking a bavk seat By the way I also hosted a dinner at fresh salt...the restaurant on premise...that was perfect and the service was excellent. Maybe the desk should be trained by the resto front of house

It’s a nice hotel on the marina, the room was spacious and clean, and the outdoor pool was nice however it was dirty both in the afternoon and in the morning. There were clumps of hair floating around. Our room looked over the parking lot and the car alarms were annoying. The room also shook a few times as if in a earthquake so there’s something structurally wrong. It’s not soundproof either. Nice hotel in a nice location but way overpriced. For what we paid I expected luxury but this was not that. The restaurant staff was lovely and the food was good, expensive but good.

The restaurant was top notch. I am still trying to recreated their chicken salad sandwich.

I’ve stayed at the hotel many times and the fact that I keep going back is evidence of how great a place it is. I recommend it to all visitors of the Connecticut River Valley.

The rooms are all recently refurbished and the outdoor amenities for food and drink while watching the boats come in and out of the marina has a great vibe. The staff could not be more accommodating .. overall a great place to stay while traveling through Connecticut (by boat pr by car!)... we have been coming for years and it never disappoints! Everything was great. Loved our room. Only issue was the hot water . It took a long time and never really got hot in the shower.

Resort and amenities were top notch. I will definitely stay again in the future
