Quiet and pet friendly no disrespectful people on site

More than just updating is needed: The strong musty smell hits you as you walk into the room. The walk-in shower had dirty grout in the corners. Dark walls, dim lighting, and poor window treatments didn’t help. Staff were helpful in changing rooms, but no accessible choices so we had to climb stairs. Tub was clean but had no grab bars. Second room also had strong musty smelling.

If you are traveling with a CAT, do NOT book here. Though the site says “Pet Friendly” this only applies to dogs. I was told at check-in that the owner does not allow cats in the property and had to book another local hotel at the last minute. The staff was very apologetic and as helpful as they could be, and the property seemed clean and well maintained from what I could see from the front desk area. So if you aren’t traveling with pets or just traveling with a dog, I’m sure this hotel will be quite fine. It is only one highway exit from a lot of restaurants too. (Note - Hotels.com was very helpful with this cancellation!)

We had a really good experience. Staff was very professional and responsive. Our tv wasn't working and the front desk came up right away to get it fixed for us. No issues after that. Breakfast was very good. Room and pool were clean. No complaints.

Last hotel of a 5000 mi vacation trip; and I would say it was the best. Nice grassy area in the back with a small covered patio area. The room was large, bed comfortable and air cold. What more do you need … oh yea, a decent breakfast to get you going in the morning. I hate paying an extra $25 pet fee, but many hotels are even more.

Stayed while on a road trip passing through and it was just what we needed! Clean, quiet, affordable, and comfortable. The grass surrounding the parking lot was great for our dogs. Spencer was very nice during our late check in. Will plan to stay again on our next time through Paducah.
