Super 8 by Wyndham North Palm Beach

Our experience at the Super 8 by Wyndham North Palm Beach was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. After driving approximately 20 hours to reach Florida, my wife, 16-year-old son, and I arrived at the hotel around 2:00 a.m. Exhausted from the trip, we expected a smooth check-in. Instead, the front desk experience was unprofessional. Before he even had my credit card in hand, the employee stated that my card had been declined. In addition, he was barefoot behind the front desk, which did not inspire confidence in the hotel’s professionalism. By the time we finally got into our room, it was around 2:30 a.m. We were so tired that we went straight to bed without inspecting the room. Around 3:30–3:45 a.m., I woke up to use the restroom and found live roaches crawling across the bathroom sink counter. I immediately took photos before going back to bed. When we woke up later that morning to get ready to leave, the situation became even worse. I found a dead roach on the bed, and my son discovered popcorn left in the bed where he was supposed to sleep, making it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. When we reported these issues to the front desk and showed them the photos, the response was extremely disappointing. We felt our concerns were dismissed, and despite the unsanitary condition of the room, the hotel refused to issue a full refund. We were offered only a 50% refund. Do not recommend

This was a quick overnight stay and was perfect for our family. They kept the pool open a little longer for us, helped us get our rooms beside each other, and the rooms were fine for our stay. Breakfast was not really breakfast. I had seen the reviews on that and was not expecting much. That is what we got. They shouldn’t say they have breakfast. Otherwise great stay.

The room was clean. The location was perfect me me as it was tranquil. The pool was nice, perfect temperature. The staff were friendly and had a relaxed vibe. They let me extend check out time by an hour without a charge. Don’t count on the continental breakfast though. It’s coffee, cookies and muffins. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The housekeeping could be more polite

I’m not one to write reviews especially -negative ones but the state at this place was disgusting. There was mold everywhere. Cigarette burns on the comforter. I can’t even explain the level of disgusting this place shouldn’t even be open. It should be shut down. It is a health hazard with the amount of mold in the rooms, showers and ceilings. I stayed the one night because I had no choice and checked out immediately the next day. I showed them pictures of the room at the front desk and they were kind enough reimburse me. It was just appalling that that place is even up and running with all the health violations..

A place to sleep

Great accommodations at an affordable price! Conveniently located and the room was large, clean, and comfy for my stay. The staff was very kind as well. The West Palm area can be pricey; don't be afraid of budget options.

Needs a lot of work. The first room was flooded. The bath door in the second room looks like someone was once locked in and tried to break out. Saw a kissing bug, which is a nasty little creature, in the bathtub. Don't recommend staying here unless price means everything.
