Great place for family's.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious. Could use a little update for the rooms. But overall the stay was great!

They need to remove Westin from their name... this is not a real Westin property. I would compare this hotel to an Embassy Suites or any other budget hotel. Was very unhappy with the property, the amount of pool chairs, and the food was mediocre at best. For the amount of money spent, we didnt get half of what we paid for. On top of it all, they only had second floor availability with no elevators. Granted they said they can help with bags and we just need to call them when we are on the bottom of the stairs... mentioned to give 15-20 minutes for someone to come help. I had to carry multiple bags upstairs in 100 degree weather.

The resort lacks elevator access. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage, you may want to request a room on the first floor.

Johnnie in housekeeping and Tracy at the bar were so wonderful! The fees were a bit ridiculous though! $40 per night for respite fee and then an additional $23 per night to SELF PARK. It’s huge outdoor parking with no shade. What exactly are we paying for? We’re already staying at the property, paying a resort fee and also had to pay to park our vehicle. Seemed like price gouging. Otherwise it was a very relaxing property!

The staff here is AMAZING. Incredible from the moment you pull up- the valet was so helpful and friendly, Richard at the Front Desk was so informative and welcoming, the restaurant staff, housekeeping, everyone was so great. The property itself could use some cosmetic upgrades but it it’s very well maintained.

The property itself is beautiful, and the lobby and entrance make a great first impression. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. We also had a great experience with the gentleman who helped us with dinner—he was very kind and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, there were several issues throughout our stay that made it unlikely we'd return. We were placed near what was described as the family pool, but it wasn't very toddler-friendly. The pool was about 2½ feet deep, which is a bit much for younger toddlers who are used to shallow splash areas. There were also several couples behaving inappropriately in the pool during our visit, which wasn't the family atmosphere we expected. The pool bar was also disappointing. When we went to order drinks, we were told they were out of almost everything except beer and wine and were instructed to go to another bar inside the hotel to purchase drinks and bring them back ourselves. The bowling area looked like a fun amenity, but only one lane was operational, so there was a long wait. The bartender in that area also came across as unfriendly. Our room (635) had a sliding patio door that was extremely difficult to open and close. Since the room was located on the first floor near the parking lot, it made us a bit uneasy, especially because the door didn't feel secure. The biggest frustration, however, was that the Wi-Fi barely worked in our room. Having reliable int

Westin in Rancho Mirage was an amazing resort. Rooms were clean, amenities were robust. My complaints were when I checked in my room was not ready, so I was willing to take any room. I was in building 1 and had a long walk, and when I got to room my key card was not working. I contacted someone and they arrived after about 10 min and let me in. The second, and more concerning was when I was at the pool an attendant walked by, but did not ask me for an order. I went to the bar and ordered food, and the bartender told me she would bring it over, her name was Sam. That food never came, and I asked Andrew if he could check on it, and he said yes. Another 15ish min went by and no one ever came over. I went back to the bar and again asked and Sam eventually brought my order. It was only chips and salsa, so not like it had to be made. From that point on Andrew never came by and asked if my wife and I wanted anything else...horrible customer service! other than that that place is a great stay!

It could be a lot cleaner especially for the amount of staff walking around. We were told our room was ready but there were sequins on the floor and a couple bits of trash and the bathroom wasn’t real clean. I will say every staff member we encountered was very friendly. The jacuzzis at the water slide pool were gross. Stuff floating in the one that the jets barely worked and the other one was like warm at best but the jets worked.

I can’t complain about anything. Such an amazing experience . Bernard is by far the most wonderful person ever and because of him I will be back!

I've stayed here twice and both times were nice experiences in many ways. This recent stay had a few issues. The front desk staff person was pretty abrupt and not welcoming when I checked in. The restaurants are limited. I asked for my room service tray to be picked up and it never was. Just small stuff. The rooms are very nice and the Heavenly Bed is indeed heavenly!
