The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa

I liked overall

This was an ok stay. The highlight is the waterslide. However, if you are staying only one night prepare to have limited access to the resort amenities including the waterslide. The grounds could use a deep clean. The entire pool area is filthy and needs to be updated. The room we stayed in was ok but needed to be cleaned. There were noticeable stains and grim covering all the surfaces. This property has potential but it is currently lacking resort level standards.

Exceptional

Room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs even for just one night. The pool and spa services were excellent. The place offers a lot of dining options and can't wait to go back when the Golf course is open for the season.

Always a great stay there, especially with kids. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms with the large living room and dining area are the best. Great swimming pools.

Hospitality to the max! Everyone we came in contact with was extremely helpful and we so appreciated them all!

Large rooms, clean AC system not cool enough in room

Was in town for a concert. Weather was 115 degrees that day. The room that I was given had a faulty AC. Called to get it fixed. They arrived while I was at the concert. They texted me and said they would put me in a different room bc it couldn't be fixed. They said a bellman would be arriving in a few minutes with the keys to the new room. It was 10pm by this time. Ended up waiting more than 20 mins in a hot room at 100 dgrees and still no bellman had arrived. I decided i wasn't waiting anymore. Went to the front desk and asked for a refund. Drove home anhour and a half away. Parking tucked. Not enough spaces per building

Property is great & complimentary rides within the complex are very convenient. Great entertainment for kids. Staff is fabulous!

Great place to stay with family

Great place

My family and I visited from San Diego on a quick getaway and had the best time! The staff and customer service was exceptional, the rooms were spacious and accommodating for our family of 3. While the course wasn’t yet available, the range experience was beautiful and convenient. They referred me to another beautiful course “Mission Hills- Gary Player Course ”. During the trip my two year old son, my wife, and I enjoyed the pool & water slide area and the arcade/bowling alley. The trip ended with my wife having an exceptional massage experience. Overall, it was an excellent trip in the middle of the week. We’ll be back!

The property is very well kept the outside is very clean and the vast grass area is very well maintained. The room was a disappointment in the size. For the price of our stay it was not worth it in my opinion. The space for the 2 queen beds was tight for a family of 4. The property is spread out and the parking spaces are limited. Booking thru Expedia was easy however at check out i was charged for complimentary items that were not used. We did not want to eat at the property and we were given 2 vouchers to use as credit towards food which the property charged me for. It was presented as a gift or a complimentary item and I was charged for not using it at check out. For the price I paid for the room thru Expedia and the total I was charged at check out I could have stayed somewhere roomier and more prestigious. Overall I was displeased and would not recommend or book here in the future.

This is by far our favorite hotel. From the customer service to the amenities, it just a great place to stay!
