Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pearsall by IHG

The bathroom sink had hair pieces from someone who recently shaved. The bathroom in general wasn’t very clean. I told the front desk and showed the pictures and they only said “sorry”

Front desk staff was exceptionally helpful.

Pool was very dirty needed to be cleaned.

Hotel management is no where to be found at this hotel to address issues. Power outage this week for more than 3 hours that was known but not communicated to guests. No hot water two weeks prior to this stay either. Rooms smell horrible. Stay somewhere else.

The person behind was was turned away because their room was not cleaned We did not get the room we booked with the number of beds requested but at least there was a room.

Mattress was too hard but breakfast was good.

We had a room on the 4th floor, but when we got there the elevator was out. Front desk said it had been out for months. They finally were able to move us to the second floor. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The restroom had a bad smell, and the shower floor was very dirty.

This was our second attempt. We rented 2 suites back in April which were a nightmare. We tried again because this is the “best” in the area. Front desk employees are the sweetest by the way. We were assigned to 3rd floor. Elevator was not working! Two women and a child having to carry luggage upstairs. We get to the room, toilet was not flushing! Front desk did attend to it quick! We left for graduation and came back around 1:30am, guess what, only 1 lamp worked! The other lamps had no bulbs. The entry light kept flickering. 1 bulb and the bathroom light. We had to leave the curtains open to get some light in the room!

after check in we tried to shower and there was no hot water available in the bathroom. even after letting the water run for 10 minutes the temperature was the same. I asked the desk clerk about it and there was little to no reaction or any action to inspect the issue or call a maintenance person to correct the issue. wont be coming back to this hotel.

Room size. Breakfast was great There was no hot water and the elevator was broken

The front desk was nice and helpful. The hotel sent me the wrong invoice for our stay on my email.

Our shower floor was extremely dirty. Requested for it to be cleaned, no one ever went, instead skipped our room and told me, “I have scrubbed that floor alot and it wont come off”. No trashcan in the room. Breakfast first morning, only eggs! I booked one of the suites for 6, only 2 towels provided, no extra blankets (I did ask for more and the lady was super sweet).

Overall it was good to great. Day one didn't have the room I request front desl wasn't helpful. The following day I asked again with new person at front desk she was extremely helpful. She was going to work on finding a room we had requested. Left to run errand and returned another person at front desk gave us our new room. So overall it all worked out.
