This is our #1 spot we stay every time we come to the city!

The beds were comfortable and the unit was well stocked with towels and linens. The kitchen was decently appointed but there were no filters for the coffee maker. I wouldn’t cook a big meal here, but enough for fixing snacks and quick bites. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The lobby is gorgeous and well maintained. We felt very safe. You need a key card or to be buzzed in to get in the building. The elevator is past the desk and requires a card as well. The neighborhood is definitely a big city locale on a busy city street, but even walking back at night with kids we felt safe. We live adjacent to a big city so it is not a big deal to us but if you are rural/suburban, expect city noise. The hotel does supply earplugs and eye masks. Limited restaurants in walking distance and the 2 in the lobby are $$$$. Tons of options via DoorDash. Photos accurately reflect what the units look like. One of the toilets was broken and didn’t flush at all. We didn’t discover it until late as we checked in then went to a show and dinner. It did make me wonder how well it was cleaned (would have been discovered) but the unit appeared to be very clean otherwise. I asked about early check in and was told I had to call the day of and see if it was possible. I did and still couldn’t be guaranteed either way. We showed up slightly before 3 and were able to get into the unit. I explained we had tickets to a show at 3, which being right down the block from the theater has to happen a good bit. It wasn’t clear from the description that the “office” is an alcove off one of the bedrooms and not private. It worked for us as we were all family, but would be less than ideal if being used as a true 3 bedroom. One bedroom was right off the main living space with a queen bed. The other was very private with a king and the office alcove. The fold out bed was easy to operate, and comfortable. Even with the bed open there was space to move around. It was also unusual that we had to do all the trash removal and cleaning tasks. Felt more AirBNB than hotel. Parking is non-existent. We lucked out and found street parking super close but any of the lots nearby are upwards of $50 a night. The parking discounted by the hotel is 3 blocks away and across a busy street. Not really convenient for bringing in luggage. I’d advise anyone staying to look for street parking.

Spacious rooms Memory foam mattresses are soft so great for those that like softer mattresses

The hotel itself has great charm and was a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. Mysteriously the hot water cut out on the second morning suddenly and we had no time / interest to resolve. The room wasn’t made up after our first night. Not sure why.

Noise from streets

Easy check-in. Excellent communication prior, during, and after stay. Open ginger ale bottle in the refrigerator.

Amazing! This is by far the nicest stay! Very friendly Staff. Our room was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and alot of closet space perfect for longer stays. Great location! Definitely recommend. I will be booking another stay in the future.

Location was perfect for a concert at The Met. We remember the original Devine Lorraine for which the lit sign is still on top of the hotel. Two restaurants on site. The breakfast from the onsite Daily was perfect. The room/apartment was more than perfect. Every staff member we met was so friendly. The large windows were perfect for the city view. The added bonus for the room were the ear plugs/eye mask as we did hear the car horns and rumbling from the Broad Street subway and the morning sun shining thru our window...Perfect. Can't wait to stay their again! If the restaurants stayed open until midnight.

We had to ask 4 times!!! to get new towels (on 4 separate days in a 11 nights stay)..

We love staying at the Divine and were delighted to find out we were upgraded to the penthouse! Just wish we needed to stay longer.

Someone in the club set off smoke alarm at 1230am using smoke machine Neighborhood didn’t feel safe No shower curtain in second bathroom Carpet looked dirty/ stains

Location was excellent, the staff was very helpful and responsive, the architecture and design of the rooms were one of a kind. It’s above a club so it gets loud at night.
-
Beautiful hotel, very nice room. Quiet pleasant The location was a little desolate a little unnerving location. I would not like to wander around at night outside the hotel. However in the morning it was fine

Room is very spacious for 2 people, full kitchen even though we didn't cook and use any of the stuff. It is kind of noisy because the hotel is located at a street corner, for some reason the cars at the light honk a lot, maybe ask the right turn only cars not to stop there? I guess. This goes on consistently until after 10PM. Also no breakfast was included in our booking.

Perfect apartment. After a month in a smallish hotel room in New York, this apartment was a dream. It was spacious with large living room/kitchen, separate bedroom, private bathroom. Included fridge, washing machine, dishwasher etc, and it was spotless and quiet. There is a subway right next to the hotel, which meant that you were in Center City area in less than five minutes. The hotel is also less than a five minute walk from Philadelphia Met, which is why I booked this property. No faults at all. Eveything was spot on.

Location, room was very comfortable Noise! We could hear our neighbors from our living room—but not from our bedroom with the door closed. (The hotel is obviously aware of the situation because they leave earplugs for guests on the nightstands.) We could also smell weed being smoked by our partying neighbors.

A beautiful site and felt safe at all times Everything was perfect.
-
No breakfast available, however we were in walking distance to everything
