I didn't get my room cleaned until Friday night. I had to BEG. BEG. PLEAD to get sheets changed & clean towels. Pool gate didn't work.

We were so impressed with the service, amount of things to do, and the beauty of the grounds. It’s like a little hidden gem.

The dinner was excellent. Our waitress was top notch, very attentive.

Keep in mind there’s a $42 daily resort fee, and most extras cost more, including coffee and tea. We were even surprised that hot water wasn’t complimentary in the lobby. There is a Keurig in the room, but additional beverages and amenities come at an extra cost. Overall, it’s a nice place, but it’s worth knowing about these added fees before booking.

We stayed at the resort which seems to be well kept inside. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant and bar were all very friendly. The room at the resort is a nice size with a little deck We stayed at the resort which inside seemed to be well kept up. The outside area around the pool and the front entrance has overgrown weeds and bushes and not well maintained at all. I remember when Callaway Gardens was beautiful everywhere. It's definitely gone downhill. The room in the resort is a nice size but the bed is Lumpy. The sheets smell of such strong Clorox I had an extreme headache the first night. I put my sign to have the room serviced and the only thing the maid did was change the towels, she did not clean the room. She did not make bed, empty trash or provide clean cups or toiletries. For the amount we paid you would expect proper room service. I did complain to the front desk and he said I needed to request the room to be fully serviced. I was never advised to do that, which is absurd at a resort. The maid raised the AC so each evening we had to wait for the room to cool off. It was hot outside. The pool has very few umbrellas, so we couldn't go, because they were all in use. The food was mediocre. I ate sandwiches for 3 days, also expensive for the quality. I will not be returning to Callaway Gardens. Very expensive for not great experience.

    Room was very nice.

The hotel itself and outside grounds are beautiful. However, I thought the cost was expensive for the room overall. The bathroom had an odor, toilet seat was stained and the shower head sprayed water everywhere when used and needed to be repaired. I reported these items to the front desk, but the attendant did not seem very concerned. This is not the service or attention to detail one would expect from this type of hotel.

No true gardens just a lot of greenery. Did not feel the staff was cheerful. Felt more like they were tolerating the guest. Room was clean and quiet. Shower was adequate but I couldn't wash my hair using it as stream too poor. Tub nice. No microwave in room . Not a lot of plug in's. All in all ok but not worth the inflated price.

The grounds were a little long in the tooth or entirely abandoned. Ridiculous that a guest would pay a much higher rate for a round of golf versus someone booking online.

    Very helpful and nice

It's a GORGEOUS Place to visit but they need to improve in hospitality, I arrived in the middle of tornado alert, and the guy in the valet he didn't let me say any word and ask me to move my car because it was only valet area, and la lady at the front desk she didn't show any hospitality at all she makes me a sign with her head to approached to her and she never greeted me or welcomed to the Callaway, also one of the bed wasn't in good condition, But I GREAT time at the Cason's restaurant the hostess was so friendly, and Marion was exceptional, the food was served at perfect temperature. They were 10/10. The beach lake have a lol activities for all ages.
