Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Neville Island

The room = 5. The exterior of the building = 4. I think they are renovating the rooms first, and hope it continues to the exterior as it looks pretty rough. Room was very comfortable, staff was nice. Room was quiet for being next to the freeway bridge. My room was on the 4th floor and had a great view of the Ohio River and the hills across from the hotel. Breakfast was meh- Typical hotel "free" breakfasts. Staff was very friendly.

It was not well kept. Light bulbs were missing from fixtures, elevator was dirty

Pool was lovely, small but clean. Breakfast was great, comfy bed, good tv. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in July 2026 and the room we had was newly renovated and gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and the complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was delicious.

Well maintained property, helpful staff, quality beds. Good water pressure (unlike at least one nearby hotel on University) and very nice shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Will choose this hotel for my next visit to the area.

The hotel itself is very nice but there is not much in the area for dining or entertainment.

Not a bad place at all. We have just been at better hotels recently so this doesn't merit a top grade.

Love the convient location to places I need to frequent. Easy on and off the interstate. I had a better stay compared to last year when remodeling was going on strong. Stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Loved the shower, without the tub. The breakfast buffet had a lot of tasty choices. Staff was very friendly. I hope the remodeling includes refreshing the seat covering in the dining area. They are thread bare.
