Holiday Inn Port St. Lucie by IHG

Gym was closed. There’s no vending machines. The bedding on one bed was filthy and smelled like arm pits. The carpet was sticky and felt awful. Hair in shower. Only shower. Tub filler was stuck up. Reeked of skunk weed.

From the moment we arrived, the room felt excessively humid and had a strong musty odor. My wife suffers from severe allergies and asthma, and the conditions in the room made her symptoms significantly worse during our stay. We travel with a hypoallergenic service dog, and we were informed that we could only stay on the second floor because the other floors were designated as non-pet floors. Unfortunately, the second floor appeared to have the worst humidity issues in the hotel. The windows were constantly covered in condensation, and nearly everything in the room felt damp. The carpets were wet, the pillows felt damp, the sheets felt damp, and even the bathroom floor seemed perpetually wet. The excessive moisture created a very uncomfortable environment and raised concerns about air quality and potential mold issues. In addition, the room was poorly maintained. The lamps were covered in dust, and the bathroom door would not close properly. For a nationally recognized hotel brand, I expected a clean, comfortable, and properly maintained room. Instead, we experienced an uncomfortable stay that negatively impacted my wife's health. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially guests with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory conditions, until these issues are addressed.

Room was clean, pool was amazing! Breakfast was not included we were told.

Will not go to this hotel again The room smelled really bad like mold and the bathroom had mold around the tub fixtures . Underkept not worth the price and the staff was not very helpful .

Glass all over pool back area an in pool edge went and told front desk who said maintenance would be there 3 hrs later no one showed no apologies no conversation nothing place is very runned down smells funny room was not great definitely not a hotel that should be charging 130 a night jaccuzzi not working not even water level and outside bathroom was filthy

Some positives: The price was good for one night ($133) on Memorial Day weekend. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom had hot water and good pressure and seemed to have been remodeled. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

We had a handicap room and it had the bars and a seat but the water goes everywhere and me and my husband slipped. I told front desk and she said she would just tell maintenance

The pool was not as great as it looks on hotel.com. The staff was excellent all shifts. Room very clean.

Nothing at all. The hot tub didn’t even work which was the main reason of going. To relax. The room was awful, trash was left in it. Hair under the cover. Dirty floors.
