Inn at Diamond Cove

We have had the best experience at the Inn at Diamond Cove! This is the first time our family has been to the East Coast and we already can’t wait to come back. The rooms are big and beautiful and there are so many things to do with the entire family. We rode bikes, played basketball, went to the arcade, got a golf cart ride to the cove where we collected some beautiful sea glass, ate an amazing dinner and made s’mores, all on the 1st day! The hotel has been amazing but the customer service has been even better! Everybody was so nice and helpful and it truly made our family feel special. The GM Alex was phenomenal and helped us out so much. He reached out days before we got here to make sure everything was set for us and he made the entire experience perfect. Simone was another amazing employee who really went above and beyond and made our trip so much fun. She was so nice and sweet and so helpful and she made our vacation even better. We loved our vacation here! The only negative part was having to leave.

Property is very pretty . Historic but not dated The island has a great restaurant. It was a great escape from Portland. Relaxing .

Our anniversary was ruined at the Inn at Diamond Cove!! We called in advance to have a golf cart available to take us to the resort and when we arrived there was no shuttle. We called the hotel again and 20 minutes later it arrived. We traveled to this location to enjoy the jacuzzi and the jacuzzi heater was broken. We tried to go to sleep at 11 p.m. and a noise was thudding above our heads for an hour. Then, the noise started again at 5 a.m. I called the front desk 6 times from the room phone and there was no answer!!! So, in pajamas I walked down to the front desk and the woman started screeching at me that she got my calls... but their phone system didn't work and I should have known that... and the noise was not her problem! I told her that a guest should not have to stumble out of bed to talk to the front desk and I asked for a refund, to which she agreed, I then emailed the hotel manager and they refused to give me any compensation!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! They take no responsibility for a terrible guest experience and they STINK!!!!!

Unusual place to stay; in a renovated former army base. Huge rooms, gorgeous recent renovation/reconstruction.Expensive!

The manager and the staff were amazing - we had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and they were very helpful and got us moved to another room. I wish there were some more options for food, and was disappointed that the bar was not staffed, but the inn was beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing!

We had a really wonderful visit at the Inn at Diamond Cove. It was a special adventure and the staff tried to work with us to help us enjoy our visit after arriving very late at night for a one night /one day stay. We knew nothing about the inn or the island's history so it was a leap of faith and well worth it.

It’s magical to take the ferry to this inn. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are personable, and the amenities are bountiful. We stayed one night at the b very start of the season and were treated so well! We’re coming back for a longer stay so we can enjoy it again. This is a unique stay and one we will remember for its quaint beauty and unique charm. Be prepared to walk, but the inn has shuttles from the dock.

When we arrived from the ferry there was no one from the property to greet us so a person from the community offered us a ride close to the property but we still had to walk a bit. When we finally arrived at the hotel the check in process was relatively smooth and the staff was helpful, but there was no indication on how to find our room. There is no dinner service at the property so one must either walk or ask for a ride on a golf cart to get to the restaurant at the dock.

it was very unique having to take a ferry over, shuttle by golf cart and bikes. late in season only 1 restaurant available. looking for peace and quiet- this it the place. lots to walk around and look at with the old fort there.
