At check-in, my friends and I were welcomed by two friendly and helpful staff, who gave us a map and walking directions to downtown Poulsbo. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice that the room had a refrigerator/freezer. The free breakfast was a nice amenity with lots to choose from, and the hard-working staff person at breakfast was very nice. The area was quiet, and the outdoor hot tub was also great. While the room seemed like it was cleaned very well, there was a musty smell that was always present. Another guest at the hot tub mentioned the same thing. Also, the hotel is a little less than a mile from downtown Poulsbo in a strip mall-type area, and it's quite hilly and without sidewalks in parts, so it's not quite as walkable as you might think. At this price point, it would be nice to be closer to the main part of town, but if you prefer quiet, it's a good choice.

Stay away from this property! Property is clearly falling apart and the owners have no intention of fixing/restoring it. Sky high price for not even the basic amenities. Lobby is saturated with deodorizers and dehumidifiers. Room smelled of mold. Water in sink and tub, brown/yellow even after letting it run 10 minutes. Staff was unable to move us rooms due to “max capacity”. Clear damage to ceiling so possibly a water leak? Had to but air fresheners and sleep with the window open. Management offered unacceptable compensation.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were cozy and bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was good and steady. Only critique would be there is no elevator. Other than that I would stay here again.

Nice & Clean rooms.

It was decent Overpriced for a very average hotel. The rooms look like they’ve been decorated with leftover paint leftover carpet leftover furniture. It was a real hodgepodge and none of it went together.

Loved the water front and the bakery!! Wonderful park on the water to sit and knit and enjoy the day. Nice little boardwalk and path through the woods along the water. Loved being able to walk to town from the hotel easily. No complaints.

Room was clean, hot tub was fun, and breakfast was great and the staff kept it well stocked through the busy morning. We would stay here again.

Room very small and dark and dingy because of the wall colors - dark brown and dark green. Breakfast food marginal. I guess overall old and dated.
