I booked this for family who were coming to Poulsbo for a funeral. They told me the property was lovely and quiet because of being located just off the main road. Their room was comfortable, very clean and even had good coffee.The breakfast buffet had a great selection. They loved the close proximity to Poulsbo’s Little Norway downtown area, (within walking distance) for shops, charming restaurants and of course the beautiful waterfront park and walkway along the bay.

I had a problem when I first got there, to get the TV to turn on. I finally figured it out, and was able to watch it. I earlier made a review complaining about that, but I’d like to take that back, as it turned out it was something I was doing wrong. I’ve been here many times before, and I’ll continue to come back. Sorry for my earlier review. I should’ve never sent it.

The staff was excellent, friendly, and extremely accommodating! They helped us out in a bind by extending a current Rez and canceling another and it really was appreciated. The breakfast in the morning was yummy, too, with Karen doing an exceptional job providing food and a clean room to eat!!

The only thing that could use improvement is the breakfast. When I arrived downstairs, there wasn’t much of your typical breakfast fare. There were muffins, cereal, a waffle maker, yoghurt and hard boiled eggs. But I didn’t see any of the hot items you would typically expect. Otherwise I had a very pleasant stay and would visit again. I definitely recommend.

It’s outdated. Toilet is low and the bathroom is very small. The sink and mirror is a small space outside the bathroom. Also, there are no handrails in the shower/tub area. There is no elevator to the second story which is very stressful and hard for an 85 year old person. The steps themselves were for a small foot and one set had a fluffy carpet.

Upgraded from other hotel I canceled a reservation for. Glad I did and opened up to booking with the Guesthouse. Very clean and quiet. I’ll be back.

We enjoyed an overnight stay. Room was clean and spacious. Close to food options and about 6 miles from the downtown area we wanted to visit.
