Pointe at Castle Hill Resort

Very nice place, quiet and easily accessible. Room was large with separate large bedroom with door. Large LR with fireplace, sofa & recliner and fully stocked kitchen.

Such a beautiful hotel. Our room was so clean & beautiful. Would totally stay again. The room was so big for my toddler to roam around

Also had person belongings from other tenants I. Chair and kitchen cabinet top right They give you an oven but nothing to cook on in it only a bread pan ? Fireplace e knob was broke so didn’t turn on there were screws hanging out of 2 doors in room Was expensive I feel this was a lot of issues for what I payed

Okay for a night stay.....

Everyone who worked there was beyond efficient and friendly. The fact that its dog friendly was great as I had been on the road almost 3 weeks and was missing my pups .

I found this interesting "resort" by accident when I needed to spend time with my mom who was about 40 minutes away in the Lebanon/Hancock, NH area. Wished I'd had more time to spend at there! I would have brought a bathing suit, tried the hot tub, booked a massage at the Spa, and had another delicious meal at the restaurant in the historic building. The non-historic lodging part of the property seems more like a place families and couples might stay when they ski: very comfortable and casual, older (but not historic), not too fancy, allows dogs!! Staff was lovely! Nice, friendly, available for questions, and willing to make more coffee when I slept in and everyone else beat to me to it.

There are two properties, the Castle and the Pointe. I stayed at the Pointe, which is perhaps an entirely different experience. The room was essentially a rebranded 1992 Holiday Inn, complete with a strong smell of stale cigarettes and mildew. By far, the biggest issue for me was the air conditioning. It was August, the room was stifling, and the AC barely blew warm air. A technician reset the condenser, which temporarily fixed it, but I later learned this is an ongoing issue. Around 1 a.m., I woke up sweating. The overnight employee reset it again and brought me a fan upon request. By 4 a.m., I was sweating again and the thermostat showed the room was 12 degrees warmer than the temp it was set at. Other issues included: broken handicap door access, broken ice machine, broken refrigerator that spoiled my coffee creamer, a questionable toilet, a horribly sunken mattress, and no microwave. You have to give your food to them to take in the back, which is so unsanitary. I also found most staff rude, and I witnessed other guests commenting on this as well. Some advice, perhaps don't speak negatively about guests within earshot... I have much more detail but limited characters. Suffice it to say though, I would not stay here again.

First stayed at the Pointe in 2023 and it was an enjoyable stay. Returned this year and our stay did not disappoint. The pool and the hot tub were particularly enjoyable.
