Comfort Inn & Suites Red Oak - Dallas Area

Ive actually stayed here a few times in the past and it was a pleasant experience. The rooms are legit, the staff was professional and everything was clean, the shower was hot, the breakfast was good. My observation is regarding the customers and loitering. My very first stay around May of 2024 I was told the smoking area was out back by the pool so I respectfully relocated thats where I smoked everytine afterwards. This stay I noticed multiple people smoking on the brick bench right near the front door everytime I came and went. At around 8p I left to eat dinner at the Dennys restaurant. The moment I stepped into the hallway I was clotheslined by overwhelming aroma of some very strong Marijuana. Not like somebody had some in their pockets but instead someone was smoking a blunt right across the hall. After returning from Dennys I grabbed a cigarette from my room and stepped out back by the pool. There I noticed a running vehicle near the front parking lot with blinds in the windshield and towels hanging inside to cover the side windows. Clearly these people werent paying cuistomers. I also seen a man urinating in a bush next to the pool while I was outside smoking. The hotel itself wasnt bad, it was the Motel 6'ers that made my stay disappointing. In Red Oak Tx there's 3 options that I know of, La Quinta($170 per night), Comfort Inn($120 per night) and Motel 6($70 per night). My next stay will definitely be the La Quinta but something tells me the same low quality of people are found there as well.

Friendly staff, but the online pictures are deceiving. Stains on the carpet, a/c barely ran, headboards are worn & nasty looking, sloppy painting, & gave the feeling of throwing lipstick on a pig. People just hanging outside the door smoking. Loud guests yelling throughout the night. I wouldn’t have stayed here if my wife was with me.

I do not like how we were told they would cancel our stay with no charge and then charged for it.

I found dead ants in the bathroom, and the bed linens were worn, old, and had an unpleasant smell. The comforter also had noticeable stains and appeared as though it needed to be replaced. In addition, the air conditioner was leaking water onto the floor which could have been a potential safety hazard. The curtains were also in poor condition and appeared worn and in need of replacement.

Overall it was just dirty I mean can't complain because of the price but room is clean, but it also smelt like a sewer or toilet.The whole hotel there was old food left outside of another room.That was there all night into the morning zero maintenance the pool is clean lol i mean, if you just need somewhere to crash then crash.But as far as staying there for more than one night, I wouldn't recommend

Love the room but unfortunately the pool was closed all Labor Day weekend and was disappointed about that. The breakfast was great and staff was amazing

Th front office staff was very friendly however the room cleanliness was horrible. Looked like a big bomb went off in our room with dead ants everywhere. Ants coming in from the window. Sheets didn’t look clean at all with pieces of hair on the beds. Floors were dirty and needed to be swept. Did not stay at that hotel. Pool was broken.

My stay was fantastic.. my room had a jacuzzi tub and let me tell you it was heaven.. Property was clean and quiet. Front desk was very friendly..the bed was perfect with its perfect pillows and comfy blankets.. I will definitely return to this location!

Location The pool was out of service, the second night I had to fill the ice bucket with water to flush the toilet and the bed gave me a back ache
