Super 8 by Wyndham Redding

The clerk who checked us in, Thomas, was very helpful, and suggested a good restaurant for dinner, and the staff on mornings was pleasant, and seemed like they were frazzled, trying to do multiple jobs. Overall, just not the best of experiences at Super 8 hotels.

Enjoyed my stay, but was disappointed in the breakfast.

It was our honeymoon, so it was important to have some privacy, and the stuff was very welcoming providing a room further from the stairs. Clean, nice, comfortable.

Clean and comfortable not a good continental breakfast.. super 8 needs to go back to the way they were pre covid with good breakfasts

Not much. The room is clean. This is a very noisy hotel. People walking in and out slamming doors all night long.

Thomas was amazing at check in. He was very helpful in my accommodations. He is a asset to that hotel. He deserves a raise. Ants in the bathroom room was run down needs to be renovated.

The staff was nice and the location was awesome. Our room was dirty. Comforter had stains on it and had to switch it out. The room had dust webs along the frame hanging on the wall above the bed and there was some dust webs in the corners of the walls. Also, the furniture is scuffed up and the lamp shades are stained with who knows what. Our room could use a massive over haul.... it was bad. We had been driving all day and too tired to change rooms. Someone needs to learn how to do quality control.

Rooms need updating

The location was awesome. Close to freeway and across the street from In -N-Out. Our room was dirty. There needs to be better quality control. Our bed cover had what appeared to be blood on it that soaked through onto the bed comforter underneath it. The large picture above bed and the corners of the room had large dust webs. Also, there was a handprint on the ceiling, which was super weird. The front desk person apologized for the blood and brought us new bedding. The paint is scratched on the walls, and the furniture was pretty chipped and acratched up. We were so tired from driving that day, otherwise I would have asked for a new room. I feel that we should have been offered a discount... we were not, unfortunately.

The staff member at the front desk was very helpful and empathetic to our needs when I asked for a specific room location, even though we came around 1 am in the morning. The hotel was clean, the outside was clean and maintained but the room was a bit lacking. The room just looked and felt cheap. The beds were a cheap metal on the bottom and we kept accidentally hitting them and they made a loud, irritating noise. Also, the sink was super low and we couldn’t hardly put anything on it. The toilet also had a floater in there when we got in, pretty gross. It also had a hard time flushing and the next morning it started leaking. Pretty gross all around. I would never stay at this particular hotel again. The only good thing that happened was the super nice front desk lady

Exceptional

Everything was fine, except the mattresses. My wife and I slept in separate beds, but we both woke up with cricks in our backs. Don't know what is was about them, but they didn't work for us.

Good area, lots of shopping places around the blocks. 👍❤️ second time we stayed on the way back home.
