Clarion Pointe Ridgecrest near China Lake Naval Station

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The outside was pretty run down looking with a lot of trash and weeds. I expected a hot breakfast and there was none.

Room was clean and modern. Breakfast corner was great in reception. 100% would stay again.

Go to check in the person came in with an attitude and and I let him know who I was he did not even look up and said 150 cash or no get a room even thought I paid for 2 night stay and I didn't have the 150 so he told me to leave and I ask ed about the money for the nights he said you didn't pay so you leave. Minimal breakfast.

This location looked to be working on "renovations". I did have to wait for someone to check me in. Only 1 person at the desk and he was running to rooms changing microwaves that did not work. The room set up a little wonky. For an overnight only stay it was just ok.

I made the reservation and prepaid for the room 3 1/2 hours before I checked in at the property. The desk clerk said he did not turn on the air-conditioning in rooms because he did not have my cell number. The hotel had already been paid for the rooms! The temperature in the rooms was over 100 degrees, and it took hours for the rooms to cool down. This was totally preventable and absolutely unacceptable!!

Staff was fantastic, was able to request bottom floor room for mother in law who has hurt hip. They were able to accommodate us easily! Very clean rooms. Decent breakfast included(waffles, and then just some basic continental breakfast)Well taken care of grounds for a motel. Would stay again!

Staff was extremely kind and above and beyond with service. Very comfortable clean bed. Smart TV (a bit finicky which was frustrating but it worked). Pool was clean and cool. Hair dryer, fridge, microwave, iron, AC. Good location close to lots of stores and restaurants. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The floors were dirty. The kids got in the pool and brought water on the floor so I used a towels to clean it and the white towel was black when I was done. The vent fan in the bathroom was also black from dirt and dust. The 1 st room cooler did not work. The rooms were small. NOT WORtH THE PRICE. We could of stayed at a cheaper hotel/motel and been treated better. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Bed was comfortable, linens clean. There was a small fridge in the room. Shower was working well. AC kept the room cool, though it was pretty loud - I used earplugs at night. TV was in the room but I didn’t use it so I do not know whether it was working. Front desk staff was very courteous. Breakfast had few options: coffee, apple juice, bagels, sliced bread, cream cheese, Cheerios.

Very clean and inexpensive. A true hidden gem.

Well, first when I got there to check in the attendant was “on a break“ then the next morning when I went to the desk because I didn’t have a tag for no maid service for the door he was “on a break” then when I went to check out, he was “on a break“, his name was Norman and he was pleasant enough, but he was never available three times in a two day stay was a bit ridiculous. Also the floor was very dirty. And then there was a cockroach in the bathroom, I understand that Ridgecrest is the desert and there’s going to be bugs. I understand that, but in all the times I’ve ever stayed in a hotel in Ridgecrest, which a couple of years ago was a lot when I was visiting, but I never had a bug problem. I was highly disappointed in this Clarion establishment.

Nice and recently renovated property. Rooms are nice and hotel staff attentive. Quiet property too. Location is also across the street from good restaurants and within walking distance of Walmart and supermarket.
