La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Manteca - Ripon

I rate where 3 is average for comparable property. Overall, it says basic average room and facility that needs a little more love. The area is a little noisy. The bathroom door swung wide open unless latched. The ceiling has different colors of paint where patched. There is some funky smell in the elevator and the areas around the ice machine looked kind of moldy/mildewy. The bed was ok but a little stiff for my liking. The exterior was nicely maintained, but hall carpets are getting a bit worn.

We enjoyed our stay at this La Quinta Inn in Manteca (about 20 minutes south of Stockton). It is located right off the 99 Fwy making it easily accesible to the freeway for travelers. Surprisingly we didn't hear any freeway noise making it extra nice. The location is ideal as there are a number of fast food restaurants right next to the facility, and a continental breakfast buffet is available in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the parking area has more than ample lighting at night. We only stayed one night as it was on the way to our destination in southern California, and we didn't take advantage of any of the other amenities. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Perfect hotel for a roadtrip pit stop. We were able to check in very late, room was clean - clean comfy bed, spotless bathroom, and floors I felt comfortable walking on barefoot. Breakfast in AM was fully stocked with plenty of options!

Beds were very creaky and curtains did properly shield incoming light from outside. There was alight that shown throughout the night.

Reasonably priced, jacuzzi at night and nice hot breakfast in the morning...and the mattress was "just right"! Will look for the La Quintas going forward.

There wasn't any water pressure in the shower. Also, when we arrived, our names were not in the computer system for a room. Got lucky, they had some extra room We got lucky that I show the text message and email to tell them I had a room book here.

The pool hours were not correctly identified and when we went out to use the pool we were told it had just closed.

The property is very loud, 99 freeway right next to this hotel doesn't help. We arrived on Friday August 21st around 3:30 pm and the moment we entered the whole main floor stunk like marijuana. The agent was going to assign us a room on the first floor where all of that skunk's butt hole stinky smell was. Thankfully we were able to be assigned a different room on the 3rd floor. Was not happy with the toilet filled with stains and rings, and the toilet seat stained like it was just hand painted in white to cover discolorations.The spa was not hot enough. The same front desk agent had no clue where you're able to park when all the parking spots we're taken. Unfortunately, this will be my last time staying at this particular hotel. This is the second time we experience that marijuana smelled through the hallways. We thought this was non-smoking. Non smoking means not smoking, cigarettes or drugs.
