Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront

Enjoyed our stay.

I purposely stayed at this property for the accessablity handicap accommodations because I haven't had a opportunity to stay in any since my stroke 6 years ago. As a person that worked on many engineered projects I wasn't impressed with what I experienced after using the bathroom. First thing I noticed was that if you are very dependent on your right arm and hand you won't find any grab bars for the right side around the toilet while sitting so sitting down can be a challenge let alone get back up and off. Second problem was shower hose was leaking to extreme to have not been noticed by whomever cleaned the room prior to my stay. Drop off location needs hotel staff to direct traffic for the rush to check in. Continental breakfast was the best I have had since living in Vegas 20 years ago.

We stay here every time we are in the area. Love everything about it. Location, the rooms are excellent and spacious, cleanliness, bar, dining and breakfast are all wonderful! The only thing that would make it better is a larger attached parking lot. Lot is very small and always full when we return at night so we have to walk across the highway and down a bit from the property to park.

Front desk person was pleasant. Room was nice, beds comfy and super fluffy pillows. Decent water pressure in shower.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The room was amazing! We loved the QR code self guided history tour! We're learned so much about the history of the building, a former factory. We loved the on-site included breakfast and the on-site restaurant for dinner! Convenient location as well! We'll be back for sure!!

Room was very clean and updated. Parking wasn’t great but not terrible

We stay here every year. Love the location, historic building, and huge windows in the rooms. This is much nicer than most Embassy Suites. The breakfast team is great. The front desk team is inconsistent and not as strong as in past years.

Very unique building. Had lots of space in the room. Would have liked to turn the temperature down lower in the room.

The room was so clean and well kept and the staff answered any questions we had. The breakfast was fantastic, we plan on coming back for a weekend get an away. I would recommend staying here.

The breakfast was streamlined and the staff was great. Every person had a smile, positive attitude and went out of their way to help. Room was great. Spacious and clean. I was very impressed with our stay in Rockford. Kudos to Embassy Suites for excellent customer service.

Very nice property, great staff. Decent rooms and cleanliness was good. Way better than other embassy suites locations.

The hotel was very nice and we loved having the extra room.

EVERY staff member was so friendly from front desk to,housekeeping staff, kitchen staff. Everyone was friendly at all times. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Have been there twice and will be back again.

Everyone keep in mind, for some reason this hotel doesn’t have parking!!!

We traveled with our elderly mother. We stayed 3 nights and requested a wheelchair. We never received the wheelchair. I asked continously throughout our stay.

If you are looking for a salt water pool and hot tub this is the place. We couldn’t get enough of it. Friendly staff.
