We love staying here. Great for couples and families.

Cute spot for an overnight! 2nd time staying on our Florida to Maryland trip. Clean and nicely decorated!!
-
Fantastic in every way. The details add up and make the stay extra special.
-
Super cute “village” of tiny homes. It is right across the street from Mills that have been redeveloped into restaurants and breweries.

Very nice

The house was very clean and cozy. The restaurants, shops and breweries across the street were a great bonus!! Would absolutely stay here again!!

My stay in "The Pee Dee" cabin was ruined by a strong pet odor around the bed, an extremely noisy AC, and no replacement toilet paper. When I brought these issues to management, they offered no resolution—and completely ignored my follow-up request. Basic hospitality standards were missed across the board.

Loved our stay at the Alligator! The whole process was so easy. The house was clean and the location was great! Wish we had more time to explore the area.

Yes, its small…but thats the point, its a tiny home. This has become our halfway point to stop at on the way to the outer banks. The mill close by is perfect if yoh like craft beer. Hopfly was awesome we got pizza by the nearby spot.

This house was in a perfect location next to great restaurants and an amazing walking path! It’s also perfectly maintained and clean. The only item that could have been improved was the shower. It has a low flow shower head, which means not a lot of water pressure. We did have a great visit and plan to visit again.

Lovely property of tiny houses. Well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay.

Everything was unique and different that was the beauty of it. It had all the amenities needed and was perfect for a solo traveler.

I stayed at R&T previously on out trip from FL to PA and enjoyed my stay so I booked for my trip back to FL from PA. I had a flat 75 miles from R&T and had to have an emergency tow which took hours and had to book an emergency hotel where I was at in VA. I requested a one off refund because of everything I was going through, plus being a single parent with a young child and a dog which was extra stressful stuck on the side of 95 and they decided to keep the money even though I didn’t stay there and had to pay to stay at a local hotel. Really bad taste in my mouth considering I wrote them 2 x positive reviews as requested by them. I’m really disappointed. Don’t have an emergency because they don’t care.

We decided to stay at River & Twine because of the small house feature and location. They are pet friendly and the area is far from roads and highways. For us, this was a better choice than a conventional hotel stay. The proximity to Rocky Mount Mills made this location a slam dunk!

Fun little unit very convenient to food and drinks at the Mill. Room was clean and comfortable, but the little A/C unit struggled to keep the sleeping area cool. Roomier inside than expected! We only had two people so we had plenty of space. Gravel paths make it a bit tough for rolling suitcases. Appreciated the coffee maker and coffee pods! Would definitely recommend to others.

We absolutely loved our stay at River & Twine! It was incredibly clean, felt very safe for me and my daughter, and was so easy to navigate. We especially loved being able to walk to dinner in the evening without having to get back in the car. The tiny homes are charming, comfortable, and made our road trip feel like a vacation instead of just an overnight stop. This has officially become our favorite place to stay on our drive between FL and PA and we’ll definitely be back every time we make the trip. Highly recommend!

Stay was great. Only suggestion, there is more lighting needed for night time near the Tar.

This tiny house village was very cute and the house I was in was very cute and very clean. But tiny house living is not for everyone. I decided to try it and it was my first time and last time unless the next tiny house is one level. You need to be a contortionist to get up to the loft and get into the bed. The showerhead was pointless, especially for someone with long hair or curly hair trying to get shampoo out of their hair. I was there for only two nights and didn’t even bother. Turning the sofa into a bed is an OK idea but some kind of rubber material needs to be added so that the cushions which are now the mattress don’t keep sliding off. I was a little disturbed by the fact that there’s no sink in the bathroom so you have to wash your face, brush your teeth and spit in the kitchen sink. The house is very very brightly lit, but in the evening it would’ve been nice to have just a small lamp as you relax and watch television. And this may have been just the house that I was in and maybe because it had rained so hard but the house started to smell like a toilet and it was very annoying. I would recommend anyone to try tiny house living just to see if it’s something they can enjoy.
