Friendly and fast check in with warm cookies. Easy to find out room, property is very pretty and parking is plentiful. Room was a bit small, and the vestibule was kind of a pain (ski resort holdover!) but the room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Pool was fine, remotely located at the very back of the property, a little heavy on the chlorine. A hot tub would be a much better use of that space. Breakfast was great. A bit more elevated than a typical BW. They don't make up the rooms automatically, which is kind of a pain. Location is good, downtown is about 10 min away. Lots of great restaurants and bars in Rutland. Cool little town. Definitely the best option for lodging in the area!

The front desk was very nice. Older hotel, but room was clean. Smaller than average sized room. A bit overpriced for one night and it being an old hotel. The breakfast was good and hot. Plenty of options. I needed an additional towel and it was torn at bottom. I took it back, the 2nd one was torn. The 3rd towel was fine, until I got back to room and it was torn as well. I would say inspect and replace old worn towels. The location was not far from the Walmart so that was a plus.

The beakfast was a disappointment. I have celiac disease and require gluten free food. The options for me were limited. The overall hotel experience was good.

There were many tiny ants in the bathroom. The bathroom door did not shut properly. The carpet in the room was damp.

The AC didn’t work in our room. They moved us but strange that they put us in the room in the first place.

Clean, spacious room. Great breakfast. Enjoyed the back patio for socializing outside. Overall wonderful stay!

Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany.
