I’ve been coming to this property for many years. It needs some TLC. I will always come back though!

- The elevator near the Athena wing/area smelled kind of funny .... like something wasn't right, but that area appeared to be mostly clean. - The rooms were nice and the people in the spa area with the pool towels were helpful and friendly. - I booked through a 3rd party and didn't realize I'd be charged a resort fee. That's not the fault of the resort, but worth mentioning.

Perfect location near small sidewalk shopping, cafe, restaurants and more … theres a park in the back near the Harbor. $75 to stay past check out time even for 1 hour is a ripoff..

Dirty room. Front desk seemed at best indifferent. Loud music.

The place was great, biggest complaint is that booking through Expedia they didn’t have any record of my reservation. An hour and a half on the phone the hotel made it right but, DO BETTER EXPEDIA!

It’s beautiful It’s cumbersome to navigate. It needs some touch ups. It was crowded. The coffee is terrible.

Staff very courteous and friendly. The staff at the poolside bar not so much. Second time visited within a couple months and bartenders seem more interested in watching TV and talking with locals who hang out there. Kept trying to get his attention to be served and took awhile for service.

The stay was ok. I’ve been there before and I thought this time was going to be better because of the Wyndham group, still been ok. What i didn’t like about the property was simple things like my towels were not change and the room was not cleaned. Their excuse was we had to stay longer in order to have these privileges.

The stay was nice, the pool was awesome, food great, we had an a/c problem fixed right away. Our biggest issue was the bed was horrible for us, of course we have a sleep number we keep at 100, the one at the resort had no back support whatsoever, just got home late last night and finally had a good night's sleep.

I loved the location as it is within walking distance of the town of Safety Harbor and many restaurants, shops, etc. I really loved the fact that there were coffee mugs in the room (as opposed to paper cups) and glasses in the bathrooms. Also the towels were very nice. The resort itself is in need of repair. Lots of peeling paint (balcony of room; common areas outside; even the teak inside the Fountain Grille looks worn out. I also thought the pool area was very dirty. the lounge chairs looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time and the tile around the pool was in disrepair; the brick pavers were very dirty around the pool. Just does not look well kept up at all.

We loved everything. The food was excellent. Enjoyed the mix of different types. Thought the price point was in line. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Again we had a very good time. And we wiii be back. The tub-shower combo in the guestrooms are out dated. The wooden barstools could use a cushion atleast on the bottom. The resort is old. That’s what makes it special. The age makes it difficult to maintain. But the sooner the small repairs are done. Less likely they will grow to major problems. The small details count.
