SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western St Marys Cumberland

It was okay for a one night stay.

The room was sufficient for our overnight needs. The desk attendant was pleasant, the room was clean, and had all of our needs met, except the hair blower did not work. The location was pleasant and quiet. Breakfast was good, and the person who attended the breakfast area was attentive, keeping the serving and eating area clean and the food fresh ~ I would book with this location again.

Staff EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Our dog was welcomed and undisturbed while we spent the entire day on Cumberland Island. Will DEFINITELY stay here again the next time we're in the area..

Check in was exc, room was clean and bed comfortable and property clean

Clean room, good breakfast, fair price, great hot water! The buildings are older but seem in good shape. The only negative was that the smoke detector was covered in plastic. We told the front staff and they did not seem surprised. Said that people do that when they cook in the kitchenettes, but our room did not have one. This should be taken care of when the room is being cleaned. We did not see it upon arrival but we were in a rush to meet family.

This was a great place to stay. I was in town to visit Cumberland Island. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was nice. It’s an older building but the room has been updated and was clean. The grounds are well maintained with flowers, and the pool was a relaxing place to hang out.

The front desk staff was very unhelpful and got rude. No information about WiFi or breakfast time. The breakfast staff was cheerful and friendly. This is an old facility. I’ve been coming here for a few years they had been trying to keep the place up but it looks like they’ve given up recently.

This was a great stay! Nice bar for drinks, even if just for a soda. Friendly staff all around. Breakfast was great. I always appreciate a waffle station. The scrambled eggs were good, and bacon and sausage. The only thing we found odd was that the bed and towels felt a little damp. Humidity perhaps? Otherwise, everything was great.

Most comfortable beds!!’ Huge rooms!!! Quiet! We were very satisfied.

I loved that they had flags all over the property. The room had a comfortable bed and was clean. I thought it said continental breakfast and was surprised it had a full breakfast!

The place was fine for a one night stay. Here are a few things to know. We reserved for 3 adults expecting to use the sofa sleeper. We got in late and once checked in, looked for the sofa bedding. Finally we called and were told we had to get that from the front desk. We barely got there in time before the desk closed. I’ve never experienced a situation where the sofa sleeper bedding wasn’t already in the room. Second thing to know is that there is some mechanical sound that goes all night long. It isn’t constant, but it comes and goes all night making it very hard to sleep. I suggest bringing ear plugs. It was basically clean although there was what looked like cigarette ash in the toilet. But it was cheap and on the way so it worked for the one night.

Hotel was in a good location right off of exit (1). Staff were helpful and very polite. Breakfast was good, had a pretty good variety of things to choose from. Overall had a nice time there, I will be coming back. The guy working overnight shift needs a raise! I forgot his name but he made my experience better. He was the younger Jamaican dude. He needs a promotion! Thank you all.
