The room was not crowded, well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We stayed here the first night of a two week vacay, and when we decided to stay on the last night again in Salem, it was automatic to stay at Hotel Salem.

When w arrived the staff was very helpful and nice. We got into our room and it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I went and told the front desk and they were helpful in getting us a new room. We got settled in the new room and turned on the air, within 15 minutes

The hotel was great. Very clean and quiet. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. In a good part of town with lots of places to eat. Definitely will be back I only have one gripe but honestly I dont have much room to complain since it was free, but a scent free body wash in the shower would have been nice.

We love this Hotel!! Staff are so nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, The breakfast is great! We traveled with our dog this time and it was perfect. Nice dog area with easy access from the room. Only suggestion I’d have is making that door so we could get back in instead having to go through the front door. But it was fine. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

The rooms were nice and clean. The showers needed better curtains as using the showers meant that water went all over the floor. The breakfast was great except for the apples which were a little old. The condiments were also old and did not taste very good. Overall l the hotel was great. There were some very good restaurants that were just a few miles away .
