Spark by Hilton San Antonio Dominion

Upon arrival, it took about 10 minutes for Justin to hear the bell that the lady behind me kept ringing. He was in the back eating his lunch and didn’t hear it. When I got to my room, there was a pair of men’s socks behind the door and 2 cups left on the bedside table. I did my own wipe down of everything just to make sure it was sanitary since it obviously wasn’t cleaned properly. Bed comfy. 2 pillows comfy the other 2 were lumpy. Lotion dispenser was almost out.

We've stayed at the Spark several times and will continue to choose it. It is reasonably priced and a good overall value. The only complaint I have for this stay was that we tried to check in at around 1:30 PM (Official check in is at 3:00). Most hotels that I have stayed at will allow us to check-in that close to 3 PM if a room is available. The clerk would not allow me to do that unless I paid a $25 early check-in fee. I refused and had to return later that afternoon. She also mentioned that they had 8 rooms like the one I had booked available. It was disappointing to me, since this is our hotel of choice during our visits to San Antonio.

Really clean and quiet

Loved this hotel. So clean and friendly staff. When we entered the room the TV was turned on and said your name I. The middle of the screen. We only stayed overnight on our way home.

Helpful staff. Amenities average. Efficient room, except floor near bed was dirty.

All was exceptionally great!!

Overall I had a good stay. The location was very convenient. We went to Six Flags and the hotel is only 10 mins away. The room and overall hotel are very clean. One thing to consider is that the king suite room does not have a pull-out sofa. It would have been nice to know this before booking as I had 3 people in my group and the sofa barely fits a child laying down. Therefore, I had to go and buy a blow-up mattress. Other than that the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We used the pool which was nice but could have used a cleaning and I had to ask several towels.

Breakfast is mostly cereal, fruit, oatmeal. And hard boiled eggs. Breakfast items can be purchased. Parking is extremely limited especially because multiple trailers happened to be staying and blocked 6 parking spots

I enjoyed every thing about the property except for the breakfast a warm meal would have nice , perhaps a waffle maker scramble eggs and sausage links , comfortable seating

Everything went well. I just wish our neighbors and the people above us were considerate of others. They did not keep the noise level down into the early morning.

Clean and friendly staff

What a nice little hotel. Justin was the person behind the desk and was extremely helpful. The breakfast in the morning was just top notch. I mean, it was missing bacon, but other than that. Although I will say, I am not a fan of weak coffee, so the Folgers just did not hit the spot.

The place was very convenient and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was only cold cereal, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, bagels, and yogurt. No hot food.

My biggest disappointment was the pet policy. I specifically searched for a property that was pet friendly. The website indicated that this one was. I was beyond shocked to learn that while, yes, they are welcome, their is a "non-refundable pet deposit" of $75.00 on top of the "refundable pet deposit" of $25.00. I am sorry, but that $75.00 is a pet fee, not a deposit.
