Hampton Inn San Jose Cherry Ave

I've already write the terrible checkin process with staff, we had 5 people waited for more than an hour and couldn't get the key (the staff could not find the card key) and very very slow for checking

Unaccustomed to the “every other day” room maid service, leaving my expectations for a clean room—towel replacement, waste basket changes, coffee resupply—unmet. Granted, when I mentioned it, the staff readily resumed once daily maid service for me.

Have stayed here many times and each time has been very nice!

I had a short trip, but the staff was so helpful during my stay. They let me check in several hours early and check out an hour late. The free breakfast was a convenient bonus. The hotel sits on a massive shopping plaza as well so parking is free and there a number of restaurants and shops in case you forgot to pack something.

Get better eggs

Stayed here as it was the closest place to my mother Inlaws for my father Inlaws memorial. Great room, very clean hotel, and the breakfast/amenities made it perfect for my wife and I. Highly recommend!!

If there was a negative, it would be that there was not enough seating in the breakfast area. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

I have stayed here before and had a good experience. The staff is excellent. My low rating is for things mai ly out of their control. My room had an air conditioner that rattled super loud. This happened last time and I requested a different room for that reason and because the room smelled horrible like animals. This time I was so tired from arriving late with my daughter after a long flight. The refrigerator was also very loud. As we winded down for the night, the electricity in the room completely turned off twice. I was told it was so the Hilton could save money. This terrified my toddler and had to get her settled in a strange place again. Twice. Then the person above me was dragging furniture around, stomping constantly, at one point sounded like they were sawing the furniture. I called the front desk at 3am then again at 3:45 and she got it to stop. The breakfast buffet was poorly stocked and a big reason why I chose this hotel. We were in a hurry to get on the road that morning and couldn’t wait for it to be stocked. On the way out I stepped on a piece of glass that got in between my sandal and foot and cut the bottom of my foot. I will try a different hotel next year.

It’s our go-to spit now when we stay in San Jose. Rooms are always clean, staff is always so friendly, breakfast is wonderful, and they have ample parking. Lots of great restaurants around the area too.

Hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Breakfast had a decent selection, but they could have used two people to help keep breakfast items stocked.

I was in San Jose for a Graduation and stayed there for two nights and as usual the staff made me feel at home I slept comfortably and the free breakfast is always good for my schedule. Thank you Cookie and Maria
