Cedar Point's Hotel Breakers

I loved everything about my stay. The hotel was really nice. The room was clean. The staff was on point when called and everything was a great experience.

You almost want to stay here for the beach alone let alone gate access to Cedar Point, had a great time and the family wants to go again.

Loved that there is a Starbucks, Perkins and Asian Hibachi place on-site. The beach can’t be beat it’s huge, clean and beautiful.

We were only there for one night I didn’t wanna bother nobody

Unfortunately there aren’t a ton of other options in the area. The hotel is filthy.

I loved that every day they would come in and clean and change our towels without us needing to call service for new fresh towels. I loved that everything was walking distance. Everyone was so helpful kind and friendly Only thing I didn’t like was just the high price in the restaurants on one of them I was charged double tip and service fee on top of it. I felt like it was a bit much almost 150$ just in tips and service fee.

Overall, the Breakers exceeded our expectations.

Checking in was fantastic. I unfortunately didn’t get the young lady’s name, but she was from Romania and was incredibly friendly, and informative. The hibachi restaurant offered at the hotel was excellent, and the pools were as clean as you could expect given the hotel’s location right beside the beach. The 1 hour early admission to Cedar Point was also a great perk. We even noticed house staff cleaning the walls in the hallway as we arrived, which gave us the impression that cleanliness was taken seriously. Unfortunately, once we got to our room, things went downhill. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived, aside from having fresh towels and toilet paper. The body wash was completely empty. The towel rack was broken, and there were numerous very noticeable smushed bugs on the walls throughout the room. We also found some hair in the bedding. The location itself was great, and whenever we requested maid service, they were quick, and helpful. We also appreciated that there was plenty of room to store the groceries we had purchased to make sandwiches for lunch. Unfortunately, the day of checkout. All of our leftover drinks and sandwich materials were taken from the room. We came back at 10am to find everything we didnt pre-pack the car with missing. Checkout is at 11am. Sadly I think this will be our last stay here due to all of this.

Premium hotel updating should be considered to accompany the premium pricing. Great location to the beach and amusement park. Overall, really enjoyed our stay

What a great location for getting to and from the park throughout the day. Beautiful beach views and easy access to restaurants and amenities.

We had booked a three night stay, but do to a family emergency we had to leave early on the 2nd day, checking out at the main desk shortly after 9am. My wife asked them if we would get a refund for the last night, they said since we booked through Expedia we would have to go through them. Needless to say we did not get a refund. I won’t be using Expedia anymore, there are to many other options

The proximity to the park was amazing. Other than that the room was dated and not very clean. The screens on the patio were filthy. There was no staff around to assist with any of the outdoor activities. Towels were provided in the room for the pool but there were no towels at the pool or a place to put wet towels. Our building was evacuated at 4:30am. There was no staff, security, or emergency personnel to instruct us on what was happening. About 150 people were standing outside for 30 mins with absolutely no communication or staff member to be found. Eventually the alarms were finally turned off and people started to go back to their rooms on their on. I still have no idea what actually happened. Again because there was no communication whatsoever. We did enjoy our time at the park and being able to return to the room, pool and hot tub throughout the day was a huge advantage. For the money I spent on the room, I expected better customer service.

The rooms are not that clean. You cannot sit in the balcony due to dirt and nasty screen. The property was infested with mosquitoes

We were in room 1132 west building. Location to park was fantastic. However, The room smelled like dirty feet the moment we walked in. The beds were so hard and the pillows were old hard and falling apart. Ended up sleeping with the bath towels instead. The neighbors in room 1131 were a bunch of young teenage boys that were yelling and screaming as well as throwing items at the wall until 1am. The pool was clean, hot tub was warm . The TGIFridays restaurant was awful GF roll was a brick, the whiskey burger sauce was disappointing. Perkins was good as expected, staff wonderful. Location was the only benefit to staying here
