Shalimar Beach Resort

I can’t say enough about our stay. It was the most peaceful, convenient walk to the pool and beach that we could want. Gulfside and perfect amenities for our stay. We will definitely return to this property.

Beautiful property, great staff & perfect location for peace and quiet! The place is immaculate & provides a great getaway on the best beaches. We loved the large space and fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this for everyone.

Wonderful time. Every room is very close to the pool and beach. Gas grill was great. Pool was perfect. Plenty of chairs that you can take down to the beach. I have no negatives to say. Screened in balcony’s were great as well.

Very new property that I think actually rates a three star rather than a two star resort. Staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with good information about the island.

On beach, brand new, ample parking. Beach chairs were not appropriate. They should be adjustable variety, of typical beach chairs, made with fabric and foldable/expandable. Shouldn’t have to rent tents either. These should be standards.

The location and resort is beautiful. We had a great time. The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was concaved. We didn't sleep well but everything about the resort was absolutely fabulous!!!!!

The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The linens were not soft, but the beds were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The lounge chairs have no cushions and it made it difficult to spend time at the pool sunning. I was told by the manager they have been ordered. The rooftop could use more furniture aside from two benches. All in all, it was a fun few days despite cloudy weather and a drizzly day. No fault of the Shalimar Resort.

The new place is paradise! The rooms are spacious and clean, the property is immaculate, the pool is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! Highly recommend!

This resort was fantastic! The bathroom body wash soap was the worst part of this place - if they upgrade it to something with more suds that would be perfect. The suite was amazing and brand new. Beach towels were available to rent but everything else was included. Umbrellas were also available for renting. The island was great for shelling, found more shells here than at Bowman Beach. The pool was relaxing and well maintained. The staff were attentive and friendly each time we worked with them. Linens are exchanged rather than housekeeping coming by routinely which was nice when you ran out of towels. Top floor observation deck was beautiful for sunsets.

This is a brand new truly lovely resort. Large rooms with high ceilings, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. bathroom was spa like and the decorating was beautiful. Located right on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

New and specious room and bathroom. Easy check in with friendly staff. Great beach and nice pool very quiet.
