Initially the drain was clogged in the bathroom and in the sink. A few pots and pans were also dirty. However the room was clean other than this and the staff was incredibly helpful when approached for assistance. The breakfast staff created a very inviting environment with great food.

The outside of the hotel looks very nice and the main hall is clean.

The rooms are a bit outdated and tight. I booked for five individuals and it was very tight. The beds were small and not very comfortable- it seemed they have been there well beyond their useful (comfortable) life. The mattress of the sofabed left much to be desired. With some updating and some TLC, I am certain this hotel can return to its original full beauty and potential.

the was a great idea get that hotel .very helpful, friendly great breakfast.good location .

Great Service Staff. Clean. Coffee always available. Would like to see the happy hour have happy hour things for the duration, not just the first half hour or so (i.e., beer). Either way, this is our place to stay and have many times.

Good location, close to Downtown area, and Lido Beach.

The staff is great. Breakfast is good. The hotel is run down. Our room had little roaches.

The Staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights in a king suite. Our room was clean. If we needed any extra sheets for our pull out we could easily get it at the front desk. Shower worked well and shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided. The AC worked well and the room had a ceiling fan that helped circulate the air. We used the laundry rooms, rooms because we needed to do two loads of laundry and both rooms had two washers but one of each was out of order. The dryers were both good. $2 for each load to was and $2 to dry. The pool was only open till 10pm. Although I wouldn't see a 24hr pool open an issue due to no lifeguard on duty, maybe it's an insurance liability for the property. Breakfast was fantastic. Eggs, breakfast meat, potatos, and soft taco condiments. Also typical bagels, toast, muffins, waffles, oatmeal, juice, coffee (all day). Bananas were great. The eating area was spacious and we'll restocked. Parking was convenient. Overall a really good stay!

Muy buen desayuno

Very disappointed that the hot tub was not working. I felt like they could accommodated by leaving the pool hours open longer due to their hot tub, not being fixed and they’re knowing that it’s summertime especially Fourth of July.

Clean room

Clean room with kitchen and good size refrigerator. The shower was spacious and had useful amenities. Would book again if we are in the Sarasota area.

All of the hotel staff was friendly like family. It was also nicely located across the street and threw some trees to a Publix grocery store and a small mall with multiple restaurants work out facilities so it was very convenient. The suite was neat and clean and everything has advertised. I stayed for a full eight days and would certainly come back here again.
-
Our initial room provided had a broken window. On a ground floor. The only remaining room was an accessible room, was musty and dank. The bathroom was deplorable. Staff was apologetic and extremely helpful. We were very happy to only be there one night.

outdated hotel, past its prime. It was fine. Could have been cleaner. Definitely overpriced for $300+ a night

The entire place is wonderful, the parking, the breakfast, the quiet, the pool to enjoy at the end of the day at the beach.
-
the bed was very nice and comfortable and cold ac with clean rooms a couple of things. the hallways of the building are dark and warm with no AC. and also the framing of the sofa bed in our room was broken and my kids had to place the mattress on the floor to sleep
-
Location was good, opposite publix The pull out bed was very uncomfortable Breakfast could have some vegetables such as tomatoes or mushrooms or salad
