Sauk River Inn & Suites, a Travelodge by Wyndham

Room was clean and staff was good. Generally a good choice for the money.

Clean room. Pool under renovation

I liked it's location. It was close to where I needed to be. For a 2 star hotel I'd say it's pretty good. It is an older building and is dated. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. For the amount of money per night they charge i had to say I expected more. I also had to insist on getting my rewar Wyndham Rewards. You can't make a reservation without going through booking dot Com or some other company. So they don't know your a member when you arrive and didn't want to give me credit.

I did find one bath towel had 2 holes in it - about 2”!! And the air conditioner was too loud to run all night - it would turn off for about 10 minutes and just when I was starting to sleep, it came back on for about 2 minutes. So I really didn’t sleep well. I tried to open the window but it had some sort of lock preventing it from being opened.

The staff there were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my family.

the room was dirty, the walls paper thin...and pool and hot tub out of order and we did not know that when we booked

The room was ok, place is very old, not well maintained. Pool is shut down, has a Crack in it? Say that on your website that it is shut down, we wanted a pool. Then someone lied and said the pool in the other hotel in town was shut down, it was not, but the place was full or we would have went there. The continental breakfast is nothing hardly, and after seeing the fingernails of the desk clerk I was eating nothing at all. TV was not set up, had to come to my room to get it going, that was just by luck, no knowledge is what he was doing. First room I was given the bed was hard as a rock and towel rack was broken, asked for a different room. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Nothing was good about it besides it was clean and had a fridge and it was close to everything in walking distance The pool wasn't up and working they said 2 pools I only say one there breakfast was horrible and the staff were rude and the never asked my name at check in and it took her 25 minutes to come to the front desk

We rented two rooms for a wedding in the area, both rooms had large amounts of mold growing in the bathroom, when I say large, over the size of a 12X12 area. The walls were dirty in the bathroom - honestly we have stayed at Motels that had more care given to them. The TV didn't work. The only thing that was good was the staff was really nice.

The desk clerk was friendly and the room was clean and okay. Kind of what I expected for the area. The walls were thin. The pool is completely drained and unusable. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and it was a false alarm. No clue what would have caused that, but it turned an okay/acceptable experience to a bad one. It prob doesn't happen every day, but it happened during my stay and that's what I am rating.

Staff was friendly. Kathy was helpful and making sure had all i needed for my stay. When leaving early morning Troy night desk clerk greeted and asked if everything was ok with my night. Todd morning desk person made sure had breakfast supplies available in the srea. Need to get pool area up and going.

Nice and friendly staff Pool wasn't in service. The lighting above the Jacuzzi could if been better but was well lit every where else.

Clean room, accessibility was great, staff was helpful and accommodating. Especially enjoyed meeting Penny. The gentleman at the front desk with Penny was very nice.

Parking for a truck and trailer is aweful

The cleaning of the room and no remote control for the tv then the maintenance man went to switch of TV and dint know how too hook it Cleaning
