Rodeway Inn Sergeant Bluff - Sioux City

Parking was great and I had a trailer with me. There is no elevator for the second floor but lots of 1rst floor rooms. The property looks to be ran by a young family. My room was clean but was in need of some small repairs. I was only staying for one night and needed a inexpensive place to stay and the price fit the bill. It's right of the freeway. The walls are a little thin ,I always bring ear plugs no matter were I stay, so that helped. Lots of light in the parking lot to make you feel safer. It looks like there fixing it up in stages. Staff was nice and friendly. Good for a inexpensive stay, not sure what's around as I only was there for 1 night on my travel.

It was a great stay. Staff was onto of concerns due to air conditioning not working and staff attended to it quickly very pleased.

There was mold under the frig, in the shower and in the AC which blew hat air half the time. The carpet was sticky and stuck. Our feet got black from walking on it. Only 2 towels in room for 1 double beds. I'm 5'8 and I had to duck to wash my hair. Gross!

The room was very clean and the staff were super nice

But, he beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it very difficult to sleep. Kept waking up with back pain.

Nice to have a door to the outside. Place is dated and could use things replaced or repaired. It was good for a cheap place to stay.

This place is horrible. My room smelled so strongly of perfume. I assume only to cover the actual smell of the room. The room wasn’t exactly clean in the least and my bed was two box springs no mattress that’s right they put a boxspring on a boxspring instead of a boxspring and a mattress.

It was what it was. A cheap place to stay. Minimal cleaning done. Only coffee and it was gross and pale.

The motel was run down and desk area was dirty. Our room had no heat and it was 20 degrees outside. The smoke alarm was missing, bed were bowed in the middle needing to be replaced. Trim around the sink was laying on the floor and there was only 1 towel. The desk person was very rude and refused to answer the front deck bell or do anything to try and fix the heat. She argued with my husband that the heat just took time to warm up but it had been on for over 30 min. Fire Marshall needs to be called!

We have never stayed in such an awful place before this. The key cards didn't work. The rooms were dusty and dirty. The heater didn't work and the bedding was disgusting. We and 2 other people who were also suppose to stay for 2 night checked out a day early. The conditions of that place was terrible. She gave us a receipt saying she charged us only 1 night but when I check our credit card statement it was for 2. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The electronic key card didnt work, and heat didnt work. It was cold night.
