Convenient location, nice views from our room.

This hotel was ok for a one night stay to get on the ship the next day. They were understaffed and our room was not ready at check in after a long trip .

I would recommend avoiding rooms near the outdoor stairwells, as there was quite a bit of noise throughout our stay. We also had an issue with the sink not working and had to use the tub faucet to wash our hands. In hindsight, we probably should have asked to move rooms. Overall, the location is definitely the biggest plus, especially if you’re looking for something simple and convenient while staying in Seward.

The room was very small with no room for suitcases. There was no air conditioning. The bed took up all the floor space leaving the access to the bathroom extremely narrow. The height of the toilet was extremely low. The television was very small with limited channels to watch. There were two chairs in the room however sitting on the chairs to watch tv was impossible because there was no floor space. There was no microwave in the room and no daily replacement of coffee for the coffee pot in the room. There were no amenities. I would not stay at this hotel in Sweard again.

The hotel was very convenient. It is straight across from the boat harbor and in walking distance from the train station.

Hotel staff was great and lobby mezzanine was a great place to play cards in the evening. Double queen room was tight space for 4 people but beds were nice. Breakfast at hotel restaurant was good but limited alternative protein options.

From the moment I arrived for my stay, the staff was SO welcoming. When I had questions about parking and when I forgot my room key, they were super easy to work with. I asked if hair dryers were in the room and they confirmed they were but gave me an extra “just in case.” Property is in the perfect location for a day cruise and for exploring Seward. Highly recommend their restaurant for a casual bite as well as Ray’s which is just across the street. Would definitely return!

Beds were very uncomfortable. Thermostat turned down as low as it would go and still cooked us out. Went to breakfast next morning, still had 2 hours before checkout and maid was in cleaning the room when we came back.

Amazing location and the staff is very nice

The not so good: hairs that were not mine in tub. Still there after daily service. Daily service did not vacuum and rainy weather tracked things in. Fitted sheet didn’t fit mattress so would come off during the night. Also, a bit funny was the listing as “mountain view” But only from the bathroom.
