Convenient location great breakfast at the restaurant

I didn’t like how we booked a hotel room and got a motel room.

Great hotel with the best location. If you're going to Kenai Fjords cruise or a fishing charter, they're all a few steps away.

The hotel was perfect location. The restaurant was across the parking lot and had great food! Room was spacious and clean and very accessible to everything.

Now a days i think we should mention everything that a room has like door, locks, bedsheet , mattress etc as now both expedia and hotel associate started playing with words.

My room was great as well as the checkin and checkout procedures.

Our stay for 3 adults (2 Queen standard room) was ok. Beds were fine. We had a small glimpse of the harbor (past the warehouses). The room was small for 3 adults with very little room to open suitcases. (No suitcase stands---we tried to balance on chairs.) Small bathroom with no clothes hooks or racks... the room & bathroom just felt claustrophobic to all 3 of us. Motel was convenient to harbor and restaurants.

Staff was pleasant and friendly

The bed was great and the room was very nice with a great view. This hotel is in a wonderful location, close to the train station, restaurants, cruise pier, and we loved the shuttle to our cruise ship. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

A lovely place to stay in Seward with my dogs! Highly recommend and would stay again. Very clean, smelled good, walkable location to the cruises. The front desk staff was so kind also!

Just like 4 years ago, the room was too hot and no response from the A.C. back window helped but heavy traffic except maybe midnight to 5 a.m.

Below average experience. The place hasn't been renovated in a long time. Faucet was very loose and felt like it was about to come off, had to ask them to send a maintenance person to secure it. Shower drain was poorly draining, so we were standing in a pool of dirty water while showering. Desk chair was super uncomfortable, I abruptly sat on it after settling down from a long drive and my coccyx immediately hit a plank running front to back under the cushion. Paid ~$290/night, felt like a $70/night motel.

Look nice only lobby, room needs remodeling. Good location, friendly staff.

Comfortable, clean, and well located property in Seward close to all the activities and things you need. The staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly, made us feel like visiting friends!

It was a fantastic location, close to the water, restaurants, etc and right off the highway! If you’re going to Seward, this is a very convenient place to stay No amenities but if it’s mainly a place to sleep, it will get the job done!

- There weren't bedbugs - It didn't have flies First, the rooms in the main motel look *nothing* like the photos and nothing like what's described on Expedia. This is a poorly maintained 1960s motel, at best. All of the photos I guess are of the newer "annex" which is even more expensive (and were the "basic" hotel room I was expecting). There is no A/C. The beds sit on springs and are rock hard. The walls are paper thin, and you hear both road noise (all night) and harbor sounds. The rooms are TINY, and the bathroom is about the size of a plane lavatory. The "shower" has black mold. The water is either freezing or scalding and fluctuates while you shower. There was no shower gel, just shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Forgot something? They will charge you extortionate prices for a travel toothpaste, etc. It was raining when we were there, and smokers filled the stairwells, which is problematic since there is no A/C. Forget about opening the windows. The rooms are stiflingly hot. I paid ~$400/night (and just thankfully one night...) to stay in a functionally 1.5 star motel. This is a place you stay once, never come back, and warn your friends. This is hands-down one of the worst places I have ever stayed. There aren't a lot of options in Seward; find an Airbnb or just skip it altogether.
