Ice machine was working. Nice and quiet. First floor, back car up to door. Check in attendant was very nice. Wasn't much I didn’t like.

If i didn’t prepay, and if i weren’t too late and too tired when i checked in, i would have bolted out of my room…it smelled so bad of cigarettes, dilapidated furniture, old-looking beddings—and worst of all, the sink and also the toilet had lines of years of dirt and neglect. The Econo Lodge franchise must do something about this particular location. Coz I’ve been to others, and they are usually clean and cozy.

The cleaning staff is great. The front desk staff all need to get on the same page. The owner needs to be a little more pleasant, seems like nice guy just needs pleasant. No pool.

The whole room smelled like cigarettes, the sheets were bad. We didn’t feel comfortable. We had to leave.

As an RN traveling with young children for summer, I was treated with respect and my kids loved the room. They though it was more space and fancier than rooms that cost three times as much.

If you’re going through Seymour, stay here. You will be treated with respect and won’t find extra $200 charges from nowhere.

I had to unplug the headboard do to arching in the power outlet that came from it. And someone was outside one night after midnight talking g on the phone for over an hour. The front desk was great tho. The guy who had to remake my card mare sure to check my ID. The cleaning staff was amazing. My daughter got sick while we where there and they changed everything. Just really great people. I also forgot a bag and they heald onto it till I got there.

Room had statist needed repair…baseboards needed reattachment, water stained ceiling need repair; bathtub needed scrubbing and bath tile floor needed deep cleaning. LTV don’t know it was clean cause room didn’t have good lighting. Don’t plan on staying there again.
