The Inn at Shasta Lake

Clean stay and great value The property was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Our host was extremely kind, responded quickly to our questions, and went the extra mile to accommodate us. There aren’t any nearby restaurants or markets within walking distance, but the property offers pizza and mostly vegetarian Indian dishes. One Indian meal with an extra naan was enough for two of us. Breakfast was selected the night before and delivered to our room in the morning. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and great value for money.

This was the highlight as far as accommodation on our 12 day road trip. The location is beautiful, and there was excellent communication, especially given that we arrived quite late in the evening and had dinner options of Indian food or pizza that we could have ordered. The following morning, we went for a hike, first thing to Bailey Cove and then came back to a sumptuous breakfast. We highly recommend The Inn at Shasta Lake and hope we can come again!

The location was convenient and tranquil. Off the highway but not too far to make it inconvenient. We booked two rooms and both were very comfortable and very clean. The staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is included with your stay was well prepared and the presentation was very good. We highly recommend this inn if you’re driving this way and need a great overnight stop on your way north or south.

Was okay for the price and close ish to Lassen Volcanic Park Beds are memory foam - to us that was way too soft. The included breakfast in our stay was pretty late. We would have liked to leave earlier in the morning to go see the area before it got too hot

This is a lovely place to stay and I’m so glad we found it. Beautiful surroundings, deer in the lawn, efficient staff. Loved it!

The owners and manager kept in touch from the moment the room was booked until before check-in. Communicated through email, text, and even phone calls. The room was clean and cozy, the way I like it. The breakfast was wonderful and delivered to the room by the lovely staff. I truly recommend this charming inn! The room I stayed in might be a little small for others, but I just love it just the way it is. Thank you so much for letting me stay!

Amazing communication, they couldn’t do enough for you. Loved the breakfast delivery. Inn is close to the freeway and there is a train that goes by, but not late at night. Beautiful location.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the breakfast, but that’s not a big priority for me.

I have traveled quite a bit in my 65 years and this is truly one of the nicest places that I have ever been to. The location is soooo convenient--just a turn or two and you can be on the freeway. But even though it has a close proximity to traffic, we were far enough away not to be bothered by noise. Our room was delightful! It was like a suite with a bathroom almost bigger than my first apartment! We also had a little seating area outside where I sat and read my book, drank a glass of wine and watched the deer in the yard. For breakfast you fill out a paper with lots of choices and submit it the night before. It was served to each individual room in a basket tray and was so delicious!! Nothing was too much trouble! There was plenty of parking and we never felt crowded or rushed. I highly recommend this inn for anyone going to Mt. Shasta, Lake Shasta or any other place in-between!

Lovely accommodations near Shasta Lake. Disappointed by the quality of the bed and pull-out couch mattresses. Breakfast in-room was included and we were offered a choice of two quiches. I ordered the chicken and broccoli quiche and it was hardly edible and no meat inside. My husband and son ordered the Gruyère frittata, but were served the broccoli quiche instead and agreed it was disappointing. We ended up grabbing a fast food breakfast sandwich on our way south.

The Inn at Shasta Lake is a true hidden gem! The property is clean, charming, and tucked away in a peaceful setting, making it the perfect place to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is small, cozy, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere that we really enjoyed. If I had one suggestion, it would be to book one of the larger cottages next time for a little extra space. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Shasta Lake area. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful pre-checkin communication. Very clean accommodations. Lovely setting. Much more isolated than anticipated. We were tired after driving all day and didn’t realize there weren’t dining establishments close to the inn. You need to get back on the highway and drive at least 10 miles for restaurants. There was a pizza restaurant that delivered to the hotel which we opted for.
