Tropical Breeze Resort

I really wanted to love this place as it seemed more family friendly than other properties I've stayed at in Siesta Key. Unfortunately they underdelivered on their promises. I called days in advance, messaged the property and followed up regarding cribs upon check-in, but I was still missing a baby crib in my room. I called a few times and staff claimed it was on its way. Finally, at 9 pm the manager admitted they were out of cribs and that my request was JUST a request. I was at Walmart at 10 pm finding a safe sleep option for my infant. The full kitchen is a great amenity, though it is stocked with virtually nothing needed for cooking. No soap in the rooms - not hand soap, not even a bar of soap. We never got housekeeping, though they promise daily housekeeping. We ran out of toilet paper and towels, called several times and it never came. The rooms are updated and nice looking, the pool was warm and the location was great. If you plan to stay here, prepare for it to be apocalyptic after you check in. There is no reliable service or staff to help you with any of your needs.

The service was terrible. Never cleaned our room even after asking. Never brought toilet paper or enough towels. There is mold in the bathroom. Outside pool area is poorly taken care of.

As for this hotel in specific the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and was full of dirt when we opened it. The place looked like it had not been clean in months, there was mold in the bathroom. It took me 3 days of calling constantly to be able to get a hold of the manager to approve the refund for the nights that were not used. We rented the property for 5 nights and only used one because of how dirty everything was. Pool was cloudy and slippery in some areas due to mold, sheets were dirty and some were stained with what it looked like pee. Ac didnt work all night next morning someone came to fix it 30 minutes later it stopped working again. Only reason i give it 2 stars is because after I was able to get a hold of the manager she was very nice and able to refund for the unused nights, but definitely not a place that i will recommend at all

The only reason I am giving this place two stars instead of one is because of the wonderful location that you can get with some of the rooms. However, some of the rooms are extremely far from the beach so beware that you may not be very close this property spreads several blocks.

Asked for towels 3 times and were never delivered. Was not able to shower

We immediately called the front desk. The employee told us he would call us back. We waited for about 30 minutes, but nobody called. We called again, and he acted as if it was the first time hearing about the issue. Instead of solving the problem, he kept saying he couldn’t reach anyone because no one was answering. My husband even drove to the front desk, only to find that there was nobody there to help. We called again and were once again told to “wait for a callback.” By that time, it was already late, our son was exhausted, and we had no choice but to sleep all three of us in the same bed because the hotel failed to provide bedding for the third guest we had already paid for. I barely slept that night because sharing one bed with my husband and our teenage son was extremely uncomfortable and completely avoidable. The hotel finally tried calling us around 1:00 AM, nearly three hours after we first reported the issue. Of course, by then we were already asleep. The next morning, I spoke to the front desk and explained how unacceptable this situation was. They apologized and promised to refund 50% of our stay because of the inconvenience. Unfortunately,

My husband & I stayed at Tropical Breeze Resort July 26th - July 30th 2026. The resort is “tropical”, cozy and clean. Every staff member we encountered was kind and accommodating. The resort is within walking distance of many restaurants. If you’re up before 10am you can grab coffee at the broken egg cafe of mini donuts shop-I suggest the mini donuts shop. There are not many breakfast options with chicken/seafood/steak protein options. The resort provided beach chairs, umbrellas and towels which was a huge money saver and help. We will definitely be back!

The pools and grounds were clean and easy to access. So nice being quick walk to beach and village for food and shopping.

The check in was at 12:30pm and I was staying for one day only so the check out was at 10:00am so I payed over $300.00 for one single day . Way to overpriced.

However this year I am not sure if they are under new management or what but the staff and service are HORRIBLE. On check in I did arrive early and spoke with them and they said it’ll be a bit. I just happen to walk by the new unit I’m renting so I can see location and still at 2:30 pm not a single car or person was there even cleaning it. We had to wait till 4pm to check in. They told me that was standard policy however at 1pm another guest before was able to check in. Over the course of the week they didn’t even come to the room for service one day. Around 4:30 someone knocked and asked if we need anything we just said an exchange of towels is fine. We leave for dinner come back at 8:30 still no towels. I called that evening said they would have someone bring them up and no one showed again. I requested a manager to call multiple times never called,they messaged me and I sent multiple messages back no response. On day three they finally came and took our towels and never replaced them. We had to go get our own towels at the front desk. Eventually after 4 days a manager spoke to me and it was 4pm again and no service to our room. I told him how terrible the service was and he didn’t even care. Mind we are trying to get ready and the bare minimum wasn’t even provided. I hope this message along with all the others reach the proper staff to fix and address this.

HOLY WATER PRESSURE!! The water pressure was immaculate and the room was spacious. Will stay here again.

The resort was not as described in the property listing. It is a 12 minute walk to the beach and is not beachfront. The property was not clean, and my daughter was bitten by bed bugs during our stay. To use the pools, you have to walk to different locations on separate properties, which was not clearly explained. Overall, the property did not match the description or expectations. We ended up leaving early and would not recommend staying here.
