Oregon Garden Resort

Fabulous spot. We particularly loved strolling through the amazing gardens! Also, the rooms are very spacious which was nice for sharing. I highly recommend!

I was not impressed. Arrived and had to step over bags of laundry to get into room. It was cold and found out the fireplace was the heater but the pilot light was out. Bedside lamp had a burned out bulb. Coffee maker didn't work. The outside was a little depressing the patio was full of dead leaves and the fence needed repair. All in all, the place in general needs a lot of sprucing up. I will say the staff was very well trained in customer service though. Very accommodating.

I did like that is well maintained, rooms and gardens. Enjoyed the garden’s landscape, and the staff was very nice.

Great room, very roomy with good size bathroom. Loved having the private outdoor space. Entry into the gardens was easy and loved being able to enter for how however long I wanted. The breakfast was hearty and the staff was so friendly. The bar was fun with live music. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend.

The Oregon Garden Resort is a real gem. Even if it weren't for the amazing garden adjacent (access included in room rental), the resort itself, with pool, hot tub and excellent breakfast accommodations would be well worth the visit. The Garden area is amazing and I recommend spending at least 1-2 hours walking the paths, visiting the fountains and taking in the abundance of expertly maintained grounds. Silver Falls is a short drive away for day hikes in the world-class natural beauty whether you just walk the short loop behind the South Falls or spend the day on the 9 mile loop and visit all ten falls.

We love The Oregon garden Resort. Clean, friendly staff and so peaceful and quiet. The on site restaurant and bar serve amazing dishes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner... Wonderful Spa services, pool, and Jacuzzi .

The rooms need updating. Also, room didn't smell fresh.

We love this resort and keep coming back. Love nightly music in the lounge! Great place to relax. Pool is wonderful. Walking the gardens in the morning is a huge plus.

Access to the garden which is beautiful and well maintained will bring me back often.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, adjacent to the Oregon Garden and close to downtown Silverton. Guests have free access to the Oregon Garden and the Garden View Restaurant overlooks the garden and has outdoor seating. The breakfast buffet was very good. All guest rooms are in cottages a short walk from the main building. Our room was spacious, with two very comfortable queen beds. The furnishings and decor were a little tired, but overall we enjoyed our short stay.

When we got to the room we checked in and had to go out for the night so we just dropped our luggage off and went out. When we returned at night to go to sleep the mattress was not comfortable at all. We could feel the box springs and did not sleep well at all. In the morning I went out to the balcony which was very dusty, there were cob webs and dirt. The windows had bugs in them. You could tell that they did not do any maintenance on the balcony. We went to breakfast and the ran out of things at breakfast and just said they were out. I went to the front desk to explain the situation and he said he could do nothing about it but said I could contact the front desk manager. I sent her an email asking for some compensation for the situation which was ignored. I followed up days later and still not 10 days past our stay I have not heard a word from her. Not the kind of customer service that I would explain especially since we had gone from San Francisco up the coast and this was going to be the last hotel we stayed out prior to flying home from Portland. The trip was great but not a good way to spend it especially since the night we were there was the most we had paid during our whole trip.
