I had a very satisfying stay at The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. The complimentary shuttle to Alta was a great convenience, and the on-site facilities—including the restaurant, café, ski lockers, and ski services—were all excellent. The ski-in/ski-out access was especially convenient and enhanced the overall experience. The only minor drawback was that the café closed a bit earlier than expected.

Great location. The rooms are tired. Loose faucet in bathroom. Interiors are old and tired. Reception staff upon arrival was basically indifferent and unfriendly. No warm welcome. Departure staff was better. Friendly. Luxury price room rate for mediocre rooms.

Beautiful facility and very convenient for my snowboarding experience.

Bathroom very comfortable, beds excellent. At least one or two softer pillows would have been appreciated. Location of the hotel is great especially if one has the car to reach Alta ski place. However, there are shuttles going every 30 min. Aerial restaurant has fantastic views and excellent food. Everything in hotel is readily accessible, such as pool and all the restaurants. There are 6 elevators and waiting time is close to none. A hot coffee should have been served at breakfast in SeventyOne. However the croissants and coffee espresso drinks in Atrium were way to expensive. and the tip offered is additionally huge. At least one or two softer pillows would have been appreciated. Most importantly we were not allowed an hour late check-out. A kind person at check desk would have been appreciated. It may be that some other personnel would have been kinder? Especially as we paid more than $700 per night for 5 nights. An hour late check-out should not have been a problem. Rustler Lodge, where we have family members, has check out at noon..

The slopes are quite accessible from the Cliff Lodge. The rooms feel pretty dated but clean . The massages at the spa were very professional and well done. The hotel charges guests to use any aspect of the spa though – – the rooftop pool and Jacuzzi, the steam and dry saunas – – unless you are getting a massage treatment.

Ski rentals and storage onsite with ski-in ski-out access. Great place to stay.

Great trip. Loved staying on site. The place is low key and staff wonderful. Not super high end but perfect for an awesome ski vacation. One tip: make dinner reservations via open table. Also super easy access to Alta on free shuttle.

Amenities are limited by age . Pricey considering there’s no snow

The 71 restaurant is so good. The spa is amazing. However, I don’t think the rooms have been update since 1971. I do appreciate the humidifier and robes. The breakfast was also not great. When I am paying 750 a night for a room, I expect more.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. And cliff sports being inside of it. Great rental shop, top notch. The room was a little date, a little beat up. It was clean but overall, very meh. The faucet in the bathroom was loose, not all the soap dispensers on the shower worked. The shower head sprayed all over the place. Also all the restaurants are bad and over priced. The breakfast buffet is so mediocre was $73 for two people with tip. We tried atrium but the prepared breakfast items were not even as good as Starbucks. Honestly if we hadn’t paid $700 a night for it, I wouldn’t care. This was about $300 bucks of quality max. But it was a holiday weekend and they charge what they can get. Would I stay here again? Probably not. There aren’t a lot of choices in Little Cottonwood Canyon but I’d roll the dice elsewhere, or bite the bullet and stay at Snowpine. It’s twice as much but worth it.

Beautiful location. Fun pool atmosphere Expensive breakfast. Wasteful to go containers fur things like coffee even when you are drinking it in the cafe. Not very green fur a mountain resort. Rude coffee shop employees.
