Quality Inn & Suites Somerset Downtown

It’s not a fancy hotel at all. But the beds and pillows were great. Also the lighting in bathroom. If you can get past the athestics, it’s not bad for money. I’m a hotel snob and my first time staying.

One of the best I've stayed in.

They were in the process of a remodel. Not sure if our room on the first floor was completed or not. Some things looked new (bedding, carpet) but others were obviously very old. Caulk and paint around door frames was horrible. Paint drops on tile floor and paint spray on door handle. Workmanship very poor. Loose tile in the corner behind the door. Fan in bathroom was taped on the wall above the towel rack. After showering and using the fan, there was dust all over the white towels on the rack underneath. Though old (sink, countertops), the place was visually very clean. There was a very strong marijuana smell at check-in. Only one ee sitting at the desk and nobody else in the area at the time so assumed it was her. She seemed a bit 'out of it' as she was checking me in. Seemed like a strong musty smell in the room. Was not a fan of breakfast ... didn't really eat day one and didn't even go in the breakfast area on day 2. Would not stay here again.

The staff was very nice accommodating. The breakfast was the best. They had turned the heater off in the swimming pool and it was ice cold. My 3 year old didn't seem to mind but I sure did lol

Clean , great staff and bfast. Had issues with door keys twice. Otherwise great place. Loud traffic heavy at front rooms

The breakfast was the only thing that was acceptable. There was no breakfast meat though. Even the sausage gravy had no sausage. Tiny pillows, toilet was loose, dirt in toilet paper holder, loose toilet paper holder, no shower liner, public toilets by the pool were full of poop, pee and toilet paper, pool room had crud build up.

It was conveniently located to our activities The key cards didn’t always work but the staff was great at helping you out to get in to your room

The front desk clerk was stoned. The entire lobby and herself smelled like weed. They are understaffed and removed the minimal breakfast a half hour early. Other than that the facility was clean, safe, and convenient.

Great people

Enjoyed the location and amenities. Happy staff fixed issues that we had during the stay. There is a required 100.00 deposit in case things get broke/stolen not listed on the website. I was put in a room happy about the location of the room, but the handle broke off our door, and the shower there was no water pressure. The lady at the front desk knew about the door and shouldn't have placed us in that room til fixed correctly. As frony desk said recently renovated. We weren't even offered to change rooms. ?

I loved how clean the room was and how friendly all staff was. There isnt really anything that I didn't like

Location Smelled like pot, and didn't have any soap.

The door to get in by our room the key card was broken so people were leaving rocks in the door to keep it open so they could get back into the building.

Good location It needs a lot of work it needs more work

Bathroom sink was slow to drain

Key cards were hard to use. Front hallway was flooded with water by the front desk and elevator. Shower didn't work.

Clean and comfortable The hotel is very close to US27 and was very noisy due to truck traffic.
