The price was good and the bedroom was clean and very comfortable but they soda machine was out of service and there was no indication of that and the coffee machine in the morning wasn't really working properly and only dispensed it very very lukewarm and weak coffee As mentioned above the coffee machine and the soda machine

Also, uneducated and unkind lobby employee during checkin & check out

The hotel is located on the outskirts of South Bend, IN, and close to the highway, so it's a bit noisy, with a few big rigs parked in the parking lot. While on the surface fits to the Super 8 standard, there were a few positive surprises. The bed (king size) was unusually comfortable and the bathroom, also spacious beyond the usual standard, had a large, LED-lighted mirror (very comfortable and convenient). Upon arrival we were greeted by AC set to 65F, quite chilly even on a hot day, but that ws a minor inconvenience as all equipment (pluming, fans, AC) worked relatively quieter compared to other similar places.

Location, staff and good breakfast. Not overwhelmed with carbs. The carpets desperately need cleaning and the empty pool with supplies, visible from Lobby, was a real turf off. E erything else was good and excellent staff

The carpet in the room was dirty. the tub drained really slow. the fridge in the room did not work. the pool was closed and they did not inform us that it was out of order when booking. tried to get towels around 8am so we could get ready to clean up before hitting the road, and was told that we did not get towels since we were checking out. I would rate our overall experience a 2 out of 5.

Clean building clean room. Very decent breakfast My room was frozen when we opened the door. Someone left the A/C at the max low temperature.

Clean. Big room. Big bathroom. Decent breakfast.

It was ok. Fairly clean we had our dog so nice to accommodate him. Stayed overnight just passing through. Pool under construction and left before breakfast was ready. Unfortunately didn’t have coffee either at 5:30am when we needed to leave

The The pool was supposed up working and being used for storage

The water fountain was broken, vending machines empty swimming pool closed for repairs. Carpet was stained and filthy mattress stained although they did have mattress cover on it. The darkening curtains had a cut in it that you could see out into the parking lot. The room had a musty smell and vents were dirty.

We were eating when the manager ran out from behind the front desk and rudely told us that breakfast time was over. We told him we would leave after our food was done, he told us we couldn't stay after 9:30. He began clearing the food and even saved the cooked omelets for the next day instead of discarding them. He started putting chairs on tables and loudly sweeping around us in an obvious attempt to force us to leave, despite us still having food on our table. During this, he struck my mother's ankle with his broom and did not apologize. He then loudly told us that we needed to leave because we were "just chilling" despite us still eating. To make matters even worse, he made a racist remark, stating that "Immigrants in this country are spoiled." There is absolutely no excuse for a hotel manager making comments like this about any group of people. That statement alone was shocking and completely out of place. The cleanliness of the room was equally disturbing. There were bodily substances on the walls and carpet, along with dried boogers in the room. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, his response was not an apology or an offer to address the problem. Instead, he said, "Why did you stay? You could have left." Our room was for 4 people yet we were given only two towels. Management refused to give us more without extra charge. When we asked the manager for his name he refused to tell us.

The sheets on one of our bed had stains on them and crumbs in the bed.

Bathroom was outdated and seemed little dirty and some tiles cracked/broken. Air conditioner did not work well, if at all. Set to 71 and still seemed too warm, us lights didn't work telling if it was in heat mode, ac mode or just fan mode. Beds were not very comfortable and one close to window was making noise when I moved.

Affordable and nice for a quick stay. The breakfast wasn’t the best. I expected more and honestly better quality. Would stay again but skipping the breakfast next time
