Wyndham Southbury

There were no amenities because they don’t serve breakfast or anything else on Mondays and Tuesdays. I took a picture of the face of the tub because it looked like it had black mold. We didn’t use the tub.

Our room was exactly as expected. The workout equipment was fine and our stay in CT. Was great.

Clean place very friendly staff but room had a very noisy ac unit and I requested some extra towels that never came.

The staff was great ! Definitely helped us out when we had a bee in the room & rather than trying to kill they just relocated us to different one . Only negative thing I would say is the rooms did had a weird smell to it but nothing too crazy once you spray it down. Definitely would come back though.

Aden and Amber were great at the front desk however that was the only highlight. Rooms are old and out of date, the noise is constant, events make it difficult to park, and the hotel itself just does not have the amenities of what a hotel should have in 2026.

The hotel room was also fine, however the remote for the TV didn’t work so it took a little bit to get it fixed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My room was clean but it was old .the curtains in the rooms had holes in it. The room had a wet smell. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean it's just old and need updating. No microwave in the room you have to ask for it if they have it available. Notice water damage on the ceiling in the room. The pool was cloudy and looked old I didn't get in it I just looked at it. The staff was helpful. I did not eat at the hotel I was able to find more affordable food. I will not stay again.

It would have helped if there was more and better food to buy from machines or at the desk when the restaurant was closed on Monday. When we arrived on Monday evening, we were too exhausted to drive out to find another place to eat. So we had to eat mac and cheese bought at the snack area. It was not very special.

Great location, wonderful, friendly & welcoming staff, especially Aiden, Genesis & Matt! Spacious room & nice restaurant that serves the best garlic/parmesean wings!! Close to the interstate & also close to family that lives out there!! Always enjoy our stay there! Thx to all & Mgr. Paul too!!

Clean spacious room, great breakfast, helpful staff

The lobby area and overall property was just as big. It was much bigger than I anticipated. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my needs and answered my questions upon check in. They key cards worked (last property I stayed had terrible key cards, preventing entry to room). The room was clean, spacious, and in excellent condition. All of the necessities were there to use. The bed was comfortable. There was a bar across the front desk but I did not use it. A quick glance of their menu and business hours were available to see in the elevator and other areas. It seemed well kept. There's a buffet breakfast which was reasonably priced. The food was actually decent in comparison to other properties that offer breakfast. I did not use any other their other on site serviess such as laundry or fitness room. I enjoyed my time at this property, which I never have known about prior to my stay. This is in fact the longest, detailed review I've written, which means I'd gladly return here again!

Just poorly kept.

Just to clarify what needs to happen with the outside areas- the front of the building had the only outdoor seating available with benches or seating you didn’t have to bring out yourself. It was the smoking section, so there were smokers out and some left cigarettes ashes and butts outside of the recepticales, there were miscellaneous stains on the ground which could have easily been cleared with power washing. The pool area had seating inside, but the tables and chairs were outdated and rusty. There were tables outside behind the pool area but you have to bring the chairs out for yourself. The tables back there were very dated and rusty.

On multiple visits the hotel has appeared shabby and worn. The carpets, bathroom tiles, wallpaper, fixtures are all tired and stained and stuffed. The air conditioning sometimes doesn't work in rooms. The front desk staff however is pretty good and if you bring problems to their attention they do their best to fix them or move you. It's located right off of Highway so you can hear some noise but it's not located near much of anything useful except inconvenience store and a gas station. The the closest restaurants are about a 10-minute drive away.

Room was not cleaned two days. Cleaning was oftem late when it did happen. Tub was not cleaned. Hot water took long to get to shower Food was awful. Insufficient staff. Some staff had attitude. I won't stay there again.

The entrance smells strongly of chlorine.
