Wyndham Southbury

It was a great experience the only issues we had was there was no heat in our room it wasn’t working no Netflix all they had was live tv they ran out of steak and for breakfast we were not allowed to bring hot food upstairs. Other then that it was great

It was reported to me that there was no continental breakfast provided, nor was there a microwave or min-fridge in the room. Other than that it was reported as just okay. Some people specifically request the Heritage even thought it is further away and a bit more costly. I do the booking for my company.

The property? Better than average and good value for the money. However, the staff was absolutely professional. All kind and hard working.

Stay was last minute but worked out well. Loved how clean the entire room was.

Dated property & not very clean outside of the lobby area, resturant/ lounge closed Sun/Mon for our whole stay, tub was broken/ shower backed up, room too warm, no exhaust fan in bathroom, icky carpet everywhere, hard pillows, AC system sounded like it wanted to take flight hourly. This hotel may have been nice when new, but is at best a 2 star hotel in 2026.

Stayed here for a wedding for the weekend. We had stayed At Wyndham before but were surprised with the condition of the hotel. The rooms are outdated and the building is pretty old. The staff was very nice and helpful and accommodating but the appearance and cleanliness of this place could be improved

Food was excellent There should be a secure option for WIFI AC unit was VERY noisy Wished the bar was open on Sunday evening

Older building, a little tried but a good value

Being woken up at 9am after a late arrival by a Spanish cleaning lady, then again at 11:45, other than that it was great

Dripping facet. Kids were above us and across the hall. Very loud and running around. No breakfast or meals while we were there??? Not open Smoking right outside the door was terrible to walk through.

I stayed here for a week and a half for a work trip. The hotel is dated, but pretty clean. The toilet would get a moldy ring around it after a couple days, but housekeeping took care of it when they came into my room to clean. The restaurant was great! The menu had a wide variety of options. The work out room is dated and smelled a bit musty, mixed with the pool chlorine smell. Guests were smoking outside the front doors every time I came back for the day, or left in the mornings, I thought smoking was not allowed within 25 feet of a front door. Cigarette butts were littered on the ground, there is a garbage there, but no ashtray.

Beautiful hotel and very clean and great restaurant and pool.

Will come back definitely if we are back in town.

Pretty sure our room had been for smokers at some point. AC unit was incredibly loud as it frequently cycled on-off-on etc.

The hotel was clean and very nice. Our meal and servers were great. Wait times were however a bit long. On Friday, we went down for breakfast and waited near the hostess stand for about ten minutes. Nobody ever came out so we left. Our son is starting college in the fall very close to the hotel.
