The room was clean, check in was fast and easy to do. The breakfast in the mornings was ready right at 6 am every day that I was there. Pretty nice to have that before I had to leave for work while I was there.

We spent three nights at this motel while taking day trips on the Elroy-Sparta trail. Overall, the accommodations were good. The rooms were spacious and clean, while the breakfast was freshly cooked and with a range of choices. I also liked the 24 hr coffee available in the lobby. On the worrisome side, the pool was not open, the charger electric vehicles did not work, and the room cleaning was not available. The staff was helpful. Although the motel is about one and half miles from Sparta and the bike trail, we found our way around with no trouble. Finally, the small Mexican restaurant next door (in the gas station) was excellent and convenient. We will probably stay here again on our next trip.

Room was good sized, not crowded, location was convenient, staff very nice and helpful.

The woman at the front desk was the sweetest! The breakfast was solid.

Pets are allowed in the room but apparently cats are not pets. we were not allowed to check in. I tried to cancel the reservation but was unable to do so. I am still waiting on hotels.com to get back to with a refund.

Convenient to the Interstate. Good value. Nice breakfast and very good coffee.

Sadly, the pool was closed but we did not receive a discount. There was a funny odor in the hallways.

Rooms were clean, public bathrooms and pool were not in working order, front desk staff was rude and not willing to help

The pool and sauna were closed and had been for a while. I attempted to get a refund but was told because the website informed that the pool was closed I could not. They said they might (couldn’t promise anything) comp me for the extra days but I would have to pay for that night. I checked the website again and them informing people of the closure is a small text at the bottom of their front page, hardly a real notification. The room was less than well taken care of, the bathroom door had holes in it and the bed headboard was carved up and had pieces of fake leather falling off. (I have pictures before the hotel claims it isn’t true as they have done in previous reviews) The hotel had very few people working and they were usually hard to find. Cleanliness was okay but not overly so and you had to request housekeeping if you wanted it. Overall it wasn’t a horrible experience but it was not anywhere what is expected of a hotel that claims to have great amenities. Do yourself a favor and stay in Tomah instead.

Good breakfast

I liked this place as the room was fine, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location was good as there was a gas station right next to the site, and also a very nice Mexican restaurant was right next to the motel.

Room was clean and staff was good.

Key card failures were a recurring frustration, sending us back down to the front desk from the third floor three separate times. The pool was out of service for our entire stay, and for two days a noticeable odor near the first-floor elevator made coming and going unpleasant. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and the staff seemed indifferent. We wouldn't rush back.

Near bike trail. We had bikes, traveling on the bike trail. Motel nor real close so there was choices of restaurants..

Pool wasn't open, waiting for parts. Good selection for breakfast. Staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful, breakfast was good. Just needs some TLC on the rooms.

This hotel is very basic. And located away from town. No frills. It did have a kid friendly pool that was not open. We would stay here again. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple but all we needed. The breakfast area was clean and very well attended to.
