Overall great experience. Love staying here when I come to Saint Louis. The Brewhouse was down this trip due to power outage but they still have the Playbook which offered excellent food
-
Overall very good

The have a sign promoting Elvis Christmas, except Christmas is spelled Christams. Do I need to explain more.

Nice rooms, very comfortable beds, and nice choices of restaurants in the casino for dinner. The staff was very kind and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay. It was quiet, clean and very easy to get around the casino. The staff was also extremely helpful. We would stay here again anytime.

Maybe I wouldn’t be so jaded if I didn’t go out of my way to book this hotel instead of near the arch because of the glowing reviews. But this hotel not ideal. The good, bad and ugly: Good - the drive in was impressive and the hotel looks beautiful from the outside and it is in a safe area. The bed was clean and the bath was clean. That’s where the positives stop. Bad - from the start at check-in: I was given a smoking room when I paid nonsmoking. I was told they couldn’t change rooms and they would put ozone purifier in room. Process would take one hour for it to run well that took two hours because they waited a whole hour to even put it in. My phone in my room was broken so had to go to hall every time I needed to call to front desk. Now for the ugly! Ugly: I put on the service my room light and it was completely ignore led and after a long day, housekeeping hadn’t even replenished my towels. You will be uncharged to have a microwave in your room as it doesn’t come standard. You would think this tier of hotel would be better kept but look behind your nightstand and you’ll see actual dust that has been there for decades. The carpet reeks and is way past its use. Common lobby and areas smell fine but it’s clear this is a very old hotel when you smell the rooms. And the type of customers this hotel attracts is three groups - heavy smoker sketchy/trashy looking, elderly and wannabe show off machismo types. It’s ridiculous

Great staff and dinner at 1904
-
Good trip.
-
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were decent and staff was great!
-
it was a pretty decent stay I just lounged around and watch some TV and relaxed. I didn’t really interact with the front desk too much but the couple times I did. They were extremely polite. The room was very clean and the shower lacked water pressure that I expected from a shower at its level, but it was cool.

Fun place, steak house and Italian are closed during the week.

The patio rooms are not well maintained and overall dirty. Ours had cigarettes butts everywhere which is to be expected. There was also dog poop on the enclosed patio. The area as a whole would o have weekly pressure wash.
