La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Petersburg Northeast

There was no running cold water in the bathroom sink or shower for eight days I was there. Housekeeping if you want to call it that was lacking, very lacking. They came into the room changed towels made the bed but didn’t clean the mirrors, sink, floors in the bathroom or vacuum the floor. The heifers didn’t even wipe off the crumbs at the desk were I had eaten three meals a day for seven days. The ink pen I noticed behind the chair was still there when I left four day before my scheduled reservation. They will ruin Laquinta’s image if they are allowed to continue business. They had a tattered American flag on the pole when I got there.

Probably one of the best or if not the best La Quinta we have stayed. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will de book again for are following tournaments at Sprowls.

The first room I was given I could not stay in. There was mold on the curtains above the AC. The second room I was given I made the most of. There was a dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom. Grime on the bathroom door I had to clean off and a stained chair in the corner. I eneded up buying some disinfectant wipes and cleaned all surfaces. And the second floor was considerably warmer than the first floor and had an odor unlike the lobby area. The staff I had most of the my stay were friendly even when I needed to change rooms. But Saturday after our room had been "cleaned" I needed an extra towel again since there were 3 guests in my room and we were only given 2 towels during our stay. The first time no issue but that manager on the night of 7/18 wanted to know which room I was in and my name so she could mark me down and plan to charge me if the towel was missing there was nothing curtious about her demeanor. Not a comforting or welcoming feeling at all. There was plently of parking because hardly anyone was staying at the hotel. Cleaning staff told me Saturday morning they only had 3 people staying the night before. Breakfast was as the kids say "mid". Oranges, yogurt, 3 plain cereals (cheerios, frosted flakes, raisin bran), plain bagels, some danishes, chocolate chip muffins, sausage patties, fried eggs, and waffles every single day I was there for the 4 days. I made the best of it but won't be staying here again.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my stay here at La Quinta. The staff wasn’t helpful and the Hotels cleanliness was my biggest issue. When staying at at hotel for $120 a night I would at least like to have a clean bed. I had swapped rooms for a “cleaner one” just to have woken up the next morning to a roach on my floor. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until this issue is resolved. I will attach a few pictures, please look into this thank you.

The air conditioning wasn't operating very well, a little hotter than i like.

TV kept going out anytime there was a little rain and no shade or lounge chairs at the swimming pool. They need to add some sitting with umbrellas

We absolutely loved staying at the La Quinta. The staff was very friendly. We did the breakfast that was included in the room. The food was great. We went out Saturday to celebrate the Fourth of July. I asked for fresh towels while I was gone they got on that immediately before I ever walked out of the hotel. It was very quiet, even though it was fully booked.

Stayed here twice now and very good experience. Will def be staying again.

MOLD ON CEILING, STTONG SMELL OF MILDEW AND MOLD THROUGHOIT ALL ROOMS AND HOTEL...ALL GURSTS COMPLAINING...WIFE AND I HAD ALLERGIC REACTION TO MOLD, TV HAD NO VOLUME, CARPETS DISGUSTING.... WAS TOLD MANAGER WOULD REACH OUT 3 TIMES AND MAINTENENCE WOULD COME FIX TV...NO KNOCK, NO CALLS..NOTHING...WANT A REFUND OR THEY WILL GET A MEDICAL BILL FOR MY WIFE AND I... THIS PLACE IS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTION.... ALSO, CHLORINE WAS WAY YO CONCENTRATED IN POOL...LIKEY 5 TIMES RECOMMENDED MAX JUST FROM SMELL AND BURN OF EYES.... ALSO HEAVY DRUG ACTIVITY IN PARKING LOT AND WITHIN HOTEL...ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A HOTEL...BREAKFAST BUFFET IS QUITE LIMITED AND VERY UN APPETIZING...BARELY BETTER THAN A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST... SAFETY LOCKS AND DOOR LATCH BROKEN IN OUR ROOM...NO BACK UP SAFETY MEASURES TO PROTECT MY FAMILY AND SECURE DOOR...SPOKE TO OTHER GUESTS WHO SAID THEIR ROOMS WERE AS BAD AND WORSE AND HAD NO OR BROKEN SAFTEY LATCHES ALSO FROM PREVIOUS FORCED ENTRIES...

was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel was extremely run down and poorly maintained. The room looked outdated, the furniture was worn out, and cleanliness was a major concern. There were noticeable maintenance issues throughout the property, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. The photos online did not accurately reflect the current condition of the hotel. For the price paid, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others
