Clarion Pointe Starkville near University

This hotel needs to be updated ASAP! From the rooms to the elevator. Clean your ceilings from big spiders and webs that's horrific! Fix the noise from the air condition. Keep it clean!!!! My first and last time staying at this hotel! The only two good things was staff and check in was easy.

Had booked a suite but was not able to get it when checked in! Disappointing

Great location Rooms were adequate and as clean and nice as I would have expected The general areas were not as well kept Staff did their job without much enthusiasm or speed, not super friendly Overall this is a convenient place to stay for events on campus when you are truly just sleeping there Fair price for what you get

The room and amenities were clean. Most of the staff was amazing with the exception of one woman during breakfast service who was rude and refused to replenish any items.

The hotel was clean and well air conditioned. Most of the staff were very polite and helpful, with the exception of one staff member that stopped stocking breakfast items 30 minutes before the close of breakfast. When we politely asked if we could get a couple of drinks (as the fridge was empty) we were rudely told that 'she wasn't going to be stocking any more'. They were lacking waffle mix, drinks, yogurt, etc. And there was still 30 minutes left of breakfast to serve.

The only thing that really bothered me was the old water kind of smell..

For the price, it was actually very clean, very quiet, there was breakfast, I would definitely stay again

Skip this place! From the mildew, wet carpets, broken toilets, outlets without power, etc! Terrible accommodations especially since it was over $300 because it was a game weekend, shame on you! Fool me once…..

I love this place! It's clean, comfortable and the staff are always polite and helpful!

It was close to the bypass. It was dirty I didnt stay the night like I was supposed to. Toenail clippings on the floor i didnt do. Stains in the carpet. Rooms had something in air that made me itch and break out. Had to drive 3 1/2 hours back home and no refund was offered even though I didn't stay in the room a full hour. The receptionist moved us to the third floor it was worse.

The hospitality was awesome. Didn't have any problems with parking. I will definitely be staying again.

I had to kill a roach before I could shower and a spider was on my bed and I had to kill it being went to sleep and when we went to use the restroom the last night someone had already used it with out flushing,so I just hope the room had been thoroughly cleaned before we entered??

The room was dirty, sticky floors

Staff was rude

When we arrived, they told us to go to another hotel, explain the situation, and that the other hotel would supposedly give us a $250 discount to match their room rate. That was not an acceptable solution after they failed to notify us that our reservation had been canceled. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and placed us in a different hotel that was much better. I appreciate Expedia’s help, but I would not recommend this hotel because of its poor communication, lack of responsibility, and the way the situation was handled.

Stayed for my move in was very clean , good breakfast , I work from home & was able to successfully connect to WiFi to work also. Recommend
