it was a bore that on-site restaurant was closed...other than that all good!

Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Shower was great - everything was great except the rugs inside the rooms are old and felt damp always. Maybe it was more about the humidity but they just felt gross. I really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and being able to go up to the village which had so many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. I saw a Neil Young tribute band and that was so much fun. Carpets aside, I would stay here again I think they just need updating. It is a perfect location with many amenities.

First off, the room we were put in had no AC. The front desk staff was not at all accommodating and told us that because the listing doesn't have AC listed, they can get away with it. It's July, and the price I paid certainly should have included AC. The TV volume was governed to a max volume that was not audible over the loud fan we had to use. The room smelled of mold and mildew, which was told to the front desk and dismissed as well. If you are forced to have to stay here, make sure you get what you think you are paying for. I spent over an hour on the phone with Hotels.com and got no resolution or the response they said I would have when I requested a refund for the poor accommodations. Never using them again. The free breakfast was ok, that staff seemed to care about their guests and job. If we were there for anything other than a yoga event weekend, we would have left and went home.

Plusses: excellent staff, comfortable bed and nice amenities. Nonos: full house caused a parking nightmare. Even with a handicapped placard we were accommodated to allow parking in front of the loading dock. Also, no elevator and steep stairs to the 2nd floor. I’d stay there again and I’m a frequent traveler.

    Great place and location

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

We have stayed at this hotel three times in July because it is convenient to the American Dance Academy camp nearby. The hotel desperately needs to be freshened up. I have no complaints about the comfortable beds and the nice bathrooms, but the interior of the hotel is dingy, and the carpet throughout seems gross. I wouldn't use the sauna (spelled Suana on a large direction sign on the wall- why haven't they fixed this??) or hot tub because of this pervasive feeling of dinginess. That being said, the staff is very nice, the breakfast that's included is fine, and the price, though a bit high for the quality of the place, is the lowest in the area. And the location is excellent.

The location is perfect for spending time at Stratton Mountain Village. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated and in need of upgrades, but has everything you need!

    Amazing hotel

Location to Stratton Main Lodge, shuttle service to Stratton Main Lodge, parking. The bathroom fan and the heater fan were extremely noisy.

Be ware that a “preferred room” means a room pets can stay in, not a better room! Hallways smelled of itine on side of hotel where pets are allowed. No elevator so mugging suitcases and skis up stairs was trying. Room size large.staff. Staff we dealt with was lovely!
