The Stroudsmoor by Wedgewood Weddings

Motel like quality. Buildings are old but area is clean. Staff was wonderful. Very convenient if the wedding is on location.

It was a convenient place to stay on our way to NYC.

Breakfast was okay. Typical fare Real eggs/omelette as opposed to powdered eggs. Bacon and sausage preferably.

I definitely wouldn't go back.

The Stroudsmoor by Wedgewood Weddings was so peaceful with beautiful scenery, wonderful, friendly/helpful staff and a WONDERFUL experience while attending a wedding at their Lawnhaven venue. The food and ambience were so spectacular. I would highly recommend. *****

With all that being said, we would return to The Stroudsmoor.

We received an email the morning of our trip that the pool and hot tub were unavailable to use during our stay. We also had issues with hot water both nights of our stay.

This property is in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance. The furniture and wall treatments appear to be original, as was the lumpy mattress. The grounds are naturally beautiful due to surrounding nature, but the owners should step up their efforts in providing rooms that match the price point note that if you stay in room 37 or 38 you are directly in front of the noisy wedding reception if there is one going on (that is a business model for the property so it is likely). I would not return if I had other options.

The pool & hot tub was well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The nature hike was also Beautiful. Highly recommend. The Inn is Quaint & step back in time vibe.

The breakfast was phenomenal The guests in our adjacent room were over the top loud and obnoxious. Banging on walls, screaming. I understand it's a wedding destination, but the level of drunkenness and disrespect was not welcomed. They had a dog barking all night as well. We didn't sleep much but the room was terrific

Atmosphere

We stayed in the Main Inn. It was great, room was comfy, quick walk downstairs to breakfast and able to walk over to the wedding we were attending in like 2 minutes. Awesome wedding venue!

We from out of town and It was a one night stay but our room was amazing and staff was friendly. Love coming to this location when we can

Nice place to stay the pool was great for laps. The hot tub was nice and warm lounge chairs were very comfortable. There was a nice hiking trail 1 mile round-trip. It was a great nature. Walk seems to be a great place to get married with five or six wedding venues. The breakfast that was included was very good. It’s quiet there not so many people. My room was very clean. My kids had a good time close to town. I got a pizza delivered. It came very quickly. There’s a lot of restaurants in town to choose from. Also only a 5 to 10 minute drive away. It’s on a mini mountain so it’s nice clean fresh air.

Beautiful setting. Excellent landscaping. Lovely places to walk and sit outside. Bed not comfortable.
