Excellent location, great value

Very clean, quiet, no issues. I like the easy check-in and check out process and that can text a number for anything I need. We love Sunriver and the location is perfect. My only issue was the thermostat. It was set to 70 but it felt much colder. Not a big problem.

The property has more amenities than I realized - there were several pools, the landscaping made walking around the resort really pleasant. It was green and leafy on a hot day. My room was comfortable, and I liked the porch that overlooked a calming green area. The food at the Owl Tavern was decent but a bit overpriced for what it was. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Sunriver Village is a short drive from the resort and in my opinion had better food options, quality and price so if you do stay here, go there for food instead.

All the activities Two birds next on balcony so couldn’t go out on it

We got there to check in right at 4 and they didn't have a room for us. They didn't give us the room we were paying for until almost 6pm. The next morning when we were trying to take showers (me and 4 children) we ran out of hot water after 2 showers. The grounds were nice and so was the pool but the late check in and hot water are pretty unbelievable. I talked to management and all they offered me was some free food at the pool for the trouble.

Lovely location, here for a medical conference, nice conference facilities. FAR AWAY from Bend, with NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT except UBER to get between them. No adults pool, and geesh, SO MANY KIDS. Our 2 queen townhouse was lovely, but of course, next to 2 crying infants all night. Really needs an adults only bldg and pool. Truly expensive for what we received. Wont be back.

What you don't know when booking with Expedia is the quality of the unit/room the resort will put you in. Because you don't book directly and through a second/third party you don't get what other guest receive when booking directly with the resort. They put us up in a "privately owned" room which was part of the "200" units. So the room or rooms will only be updated upon the owners responsibility. The room we stayed in smelled extremely bad, like a very old motel room. The carpet was so old, contributing to the smell. The handle on the bathroom faucet broke as soon as I turned on the water, the shower spout was broke so water was coming out all over. The fire place didn't work, so once the maintenance came to fix everything, though he couldn't work on the fireplace to get it fixed, by that night the room smelled like gas...so luckily my husband was able to turn off the gas to the fireplace. The TV was being pirated by someone so as we were watching a program it would all of sudden turn to Youtube, etc. we could see the name of the person and what they were watching. So we had to unplug everything and start over. This happened continually. We were so disappointed as this was the start of our 40th wedding anniversary trip. We have been to Sunriver probably over 15 times in our marriage and always loved it. The last time we stayed was at the resort, in a room by the river and the amenities in the room were amazing, NOT this time, not the same even in the room. SAD
