Best Western The Inn At The Fairgrounds

The closeness to the amphitheater We arrived at 3:30 pm and stood in the hallway with 2 other couples whose rooms were not ready for 45 minutes. Carts were in the hall but no one around. Owners finally came up and started making the beds. Owner and an employee who finally came to clean the room started arguing in our room in front of us. The beds were very uncomfortable!

Rooms were okay. No comforters only sheets and thin blanket. Continental breakfast was empty when we went in at 9 and it was supposed to go until 10. They never refilled the eggs or sausage

The staff at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. The room didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly. There were spots on the sheets and the towels. Breakfast was not good and seemed very limited. Would not stay again.

The staff were extremely rude to everyone trying to check in!!! As well as charging guests extra and saying they didn’t book when they did, all around will never stay here again.

Nice place

I reserved this hotel back in July and went to check in yesterday and they told me they didn't have my reservation through booking.com even though I had the confirmation right on my phone. They made me pay over double the price I originally had booked to be able to stay. The staff was terrible and they can't even speak English. Would never stay there again.

Required $100 room deposit At check in When asked about when deposit would be returned stated it could take up to 5 days. Breakfast was a 3 on a scale of 1-5. The coffee was a 4 out of 5.

Ppsitive - Close to the highway. The only drawback was that we didn't make it in time for breakfast and I needed a cup of coffee and I went into the restaurant to asked if I could get a cup and the lady was like " No". Breakfast is over. She was mean and lacks customer service.

Had a wonderful time. It was close to everything and very clean and quiet. Will stay again.

For the price. Hotel just fine. Nice Friendly folks. Room clesn and refurbished. Nice new bathroom. Only problem was slight smell of smoking past or from outside. Seemed to clear up.

Cannot believe Expedia would promote a facility with as many bad reviews as this establishment

Very convenient and in walking distance to the State Fair and the Empower Amphitheater for a concert! I will be back!

Cleanliness There was no coffee maker in the room

Dealt with 4 staff members. Three out of the four were grumpy for the most part. Asked where the gym was located. The staff member asked us if we were staying on the property. Well, why would be ask where the gym was if we weren’t? Only had orange juice for breakfast. It was watered down. Parking was great. We’d stay there again. Hopefully a couple of the staff members find a new job they are happy with before then.
